Chapter 803
When the executive of the Cloudshadow Sect came to deliver the engagement gifts, Raven was not even present. There was no way she could have known that the one Timonthy had chosen for the marriage alliance was Cassian.
‘Then why is she so confident?‘ Mack wondered.
Because of Raven’s bet with Felipe, the Cherry family reluctantly agreed to let her stay. However, they did not bother to prepare a guest room for Raven She was treated like she did not exist.
Back in Cassian’s room, Raven frowned the moment she stepped in.
She paused at the doorway. “This is the place they assigned you?” she asked coldly.
“It doesn’t matter,” Cassian said with a grin, hugging her tightly and rubbing his head against her shoulder. “We’ll be out of here soon enough. I missed you… Feels like it’s been forever since I last saw you.
“Oh, right–why did you even make that bet with Felipe? If we lose, won’t we be working for the Cherry family for free?”
Cassian’s second personality was far more animated than his primary one. Even when Raven stayed quiet, his naturally chatty nature kept the conversation going.
“But it doesn’t matter even if you lose the wager. We’ll just make a run for it. It’s not like the Cherry family has what it takes to stop us,” Cassian said.
“You think I’d lose?” Raven punished Cassian with a pinch to his waist. Cassian had definitely slimmed down–it did not feel the same anymore.
‘As soon as the mess with the Cherry family is over, I’ll need to give my darling some proper care and nourishment,‘ Raven thought.
Meanwhile, outside the Cherry family’s villa, Benson was crouched behind a tree, grinding his teeth as he glared toward the house.
“Goddamn it! Why are Raven and Cassian still alive? Wasn’t Raven supposed to be killed by the Cloudshadow Sect? How is she still fine? Why are these two always so lucky?” he muttered angrily.
The thought that his greatest enemy was still alive made Benson grind his teeth in hatred.
‘I must devise a way to have them killed without getting my hands dirty. They can’t be allowed to live much longer, Benson thought.
As he plotted his revenge, his phone suddenly buzzed violently in his coat pocket.
Benson glanced at the screen–it was the same man who had issued him orders from the Spatial Point.
“Hello?” Benson answered the call.
“Tell me what’s Raven’s true identity?” The middle–aged man’s voice was urgent, tinged with fear, even trembling slightly.
“Her identity?” Benson was a little stunned, then, after a pause, replied, “Raven used to be from Vyrdenia, but she offended someone she shouldn’t have, so she was stripped of her nationality.”
“You’re absolutely sure she’s from Vyrdenia?” The man seemed to breathe a sigh of relief before he ordered, “Get me a full report on her time in Vyrdenia -even if you have to fake it. I need evidence that she’s always lived in Vyrdenia.
“Also, contact the head of the Larsson family in Frihamen City. Tell him someone suspected to be Raven has resurfaced–and returned to Fo
Benson was confused by the incoherent orders.
He asked, “What do you mean, ‘someone suspected to be Raven‘? Are you saying there’s another Raven out there? And why do you need proof that she

lived in Vyrdenia? What does that accomplish?
い
“And what does a girl from the lower realms have to do with the Larsson family in Frihamen?”
“This is none of your business!” the man snapped. “Just do as I said!”
“But…” Benson hesitated. He was already in Forreb now, and things were finally looking up no way he was going to be someone’s errand boy again. “If you don’t explain, how am I supposed to know what I should be doing?
“If something goes wrong, are you going to take the fall?”
