“Alright!” The man took a deep breath before he added, “You know about the Cloudshadow Sect, right?”
“Of course! do!” Benson shot back. “But what does that have to do with Raven?”
“The Cloudshadow Sect mistook Raven for the missing Lady Valor, who vanished five years ago!” the man said.
“What did you say?” Benson was stunned.
The revelation hit him like a thunderclap. Benson thought to himself, ‘That bitch must have some incredible luck to be mistaken for Lady Valor by the executives of the Cloudshadow Sect. No wonder she was able to come back from their stronghold unscathed.
Moreover, Raven had been so confident when speaking to the Cherry family, dismissing the possibility of Felipe marrying Lady Valor. Before, Benson had been curious about where Raven’s confidence came from, but now, it all made sense.
Back in Broson City, Raven had posed as George’s disciple to oppose the Vyrdenian authorities, but when George arrived, she fled to Forreb, avoiding punishment.
Nobody would have thought that Raven would use the same trick again in Forreb, impersonating the leader of the Cloudshadow Sect. It seemed that Raven had tasted the thrill of success and was getting bolder by the day.
Benson thought, ‘I was worried I wouldn’t get my revenge, but now it looks like I don’t even have to lift a finger. I’ll just wait for Raven to destroy herself.
‘The Cloudshadow Sect’s leader is someone of immense status–someone like Raven, a lowly peasant, couldn’t possibly impersonate her. I’m the one
who knows her real background better than anyone.
‘Since Raven wants to impersonate Lady Valor, I’ll expose her in front of everyone, watch her scheme fall apart, and let the executives of the Cloudshadow Sect tear her apart!‘
Benson did some calculations in his mind.
Raven had bet with the Cherry family, saying Felipe would not marry Lady Valor. Ordinary people would not have the audacity, but Raven had the advantage of being mistakenly identified as the Cloudshadow Sect’s leader, giving her the ability to cancel the engagement at will.
Benson surmised that with Raven’s personality, she would probably, try to publicly embarrass the Cherry family at the wedding, flaunting her stolen identity in front of the family heads of Frihamen City.
“Dream on. You think you can steal the spotlight at the wedding? Not a chance. I’ll turn that event into your downfall. You won’t ever have a chance to come back from this!” Benson muttered.
After receiving this information from the mysterious man, Benson felt an overwhelming urge to release a celebratory howl. Finally, the revenge he had been longing for was within reach.
Raven was the cause of his family’s downfall, forcing them to flee their homeland. As long as Benson was alive, his anger could never be quenched. He
could not move on without settling the score.
Benson murmured, “Raven, you think you can have it all in Forreb and start fresh? Don’t count on it.
“Once I expose your true identity in front of the Cherry family and the Cloudshadow Sect’s executives, I’ll be the one taking all the credit. Who knows- maybe I’ll even earn official citizenship in Forreb and gain favor with the Cloudshadow Sect!”
Meanwhile, as Benson schemed to expose Raven, Keegan was quietly tending to rare medicinal herbs in a manor nestled in Deariton.
‘I wonder how my precious disciple is doing… Has she regained her memories yet?‘ Keegan wondered.

Chapter 804
in the past, Keegan had given Raven an elixir tablet designed to restore 80 percent of her power from her time in Forret and heal hat memory the However, due to the lack of the most precious ingredient to make the elixir tablet truly effective, its full potential had not been resized.
Thus, Raven had to drink a kind of mineral water with similar properties to the missing herb to temporarily regain her memories. But it came with a pric her body would suffer from dizziness and weakness, leaving her with lingering aftereffects.
