On the other hand, Leonard looked at his son’s right hand pitifully. He was worried that his son would be abandoned by the Cloudshadow Sect’s Lady Valor because of his disabled right hand.
Even if Felipe was willing, no one would want a disabled person as their son–in–law. Leonard was worried about what they should do if Felipe’s right hand could not be cured. Felipe was the Cherry family’s only chance to be successful.

“He did not accept the call? Then keep calling him!” Leonard roared. He was furious that Cassian could not be contacted.
“Grandpa, when Raven hit me, Cassian stood aside and did not stop her at all!” Felipe complained, “The bastard definitely did it on purpose! Did he think that by allowing Raven to cripple my right hand, he could replace me as Cloudshadow Sect’s son–in–law?”
“In his dreams!” Felipe roared, “And the commander of the Inspection Bureau! He simply released Raven! He must have been seduced by that bitch Raven, that’s why he indulged her so much. That bastard, I will make him pay!”
“Neither Raven nor Cassian would have an easy time!” Felipe declared. He was akin to a crazy dog, roaring hysterically in a bid to vent the anger in his
heart.

When Spence heard that Felipe’s hand had been crippled, he originally thought that it was a rumor. However, when Spence saw the bandage on Felipe’s right hand, he realized that even if Felipe’s hand was not crippled, Felipe had at least been injured.
