Everyone in the banquet hall was gloating about Raven’s fate. At that time, Felipe, Mack, and their family arrived at the door of the banquet hall. 

A sharp–eyed guest immediately shouted when he saw Felipe. “Isn’t that Mr. Cherry?” 

“Look, Mr. Cherry is here!” 

“The groom–to–be is finally here!” 

“The people beside him are his grandpa and father, right? Everyone from the Cherry family is here. Is the wedding banquet about to begin?” 

“Maybe Cloudshadow Sect’s Lady Valor is here too. Let’s go up and greet them!” 

Everyone craned their necks and looked in the direction of the door. Their footsteps also quickened. They all wanted to get familiar with Lady Valor and curry favor with her. 

However, when they ran to the door, they realized that only Felipe, Mack, and Leonard. No bodyguards were escorting them, and they could not see Lady 

Valor. 

“What’s going on?” 

“This entrance is a bit off…” 

The guests at the front were stunned. They thought that Felipe would appear with great poise. At least dozens of bodyguards had to pave the way to highlight his identity as a noble. However, not a single bodyguard was on sight in the empty corridor. There were only three people. 

The two security guards guarding the banquet hall’s entrance acted as if they did not see them. They stood still like statues. Even when Felipe and his relatives walked to the door, they did not take the initiative to greet them. 

Eric looked at Felipe and his father walking by. He immediately put away the shock on his face and took the initiative to welcome them with a smile. 

“Welcome, Mr. Cherry. I’m glad you’re finally here. Congratulations! Today, your son and Lady Valor will get married. We’ve all been waiting for this event. By the way, where’s Lady Valor? Didn’t she send a car to pick you up?” 

Faced with Eric’s probing goodwill, Felipe’s face turned stiff. Meanwhile, Mack and Leonard also showed the same expression. 

Cloudshadow Sect did not send a car to pick them up. They took a taxi to the wedding venue. As for Lady Valor, they did not see her anywhere. If members of the Cloudshadow Sect had not gone door to door distributing cash gifts early in the morning, the Cherry family would have thought they had remembered the wrong date for the wedding. 

Initially, Mack was sullen. But the people in Cloudshadow Sect attached so much importance to today’s wedding that Mack thought they had forgotten to pick them up because they were all busy. Moreover, no matter how complacent Mack was, he did not dare to complain and blame Lady Valor. Hence, he could only swallow his anger and took Felipe to the wedding banquet. 

Felipe’s smile was awkward, but he still forced himself to maintain his dignity. “My fiancée has been quite busy recently. She has handed over the preparations for the wedding to Timonthy. Everyone in the sect is also busy preparing for the wedding banquet, so I didn’t ask them to pick me up.”
