Chapter 897
The room erupted in shock. No one expected the Cherry family to be so audacious. Forreb was a land deeply rooted in power and influence, but those privileges were reserved for the elite. The fact that a small family like the Cherry family dared to act so recklessly was beyond belief.
And if they were scheming against ordinary people, it might have made sense, but Cassian wasn’t just anyone–he was the lover of Lady Valor, the head of the Cloudshadow Sect. How could they be so blind as to challenge him?
“No! You’re framing me! This video is fake–it’s been fabricated!” Leonard’s voice shook with desperation, refusing to admit the truth.
“Do you have any witnesses?” he continued, grasping at straws. “Without witnesses, even in a court of law, you won’t be able to convict me!”
The video footage alone wasn’t enough to guarantee a conviction, but it wasn’t the whole truth they were after. It was just the beginning of exposing the Cherry family’s lies.
“Cassian, today is your wedding day with Lady Valor. Do you want to make a scene? It’s bad luck. Why don’t we wait until after the wedding, and then find a quiet place to talk it through?” Mack’s voice trembled as he made one last attempt at negotiation.
But Raven and Cassian had no intention of wasting any more time on these shameless people.
Raven had revealed her identity and exposed the Cherry family’s crimes publicly, not just for the sake of justice, but to serve as a warning to the other families in Frihamen City. Now that her goal was accomplished, there was no need to let the Cherry family remain.
“Timonthy, handle them. Make sure to bury them far enough away so they don’t stain my wedding.” Raven’s words were cold, final. With a single
sentence, she had sentenced the Cherry family to death.
“Yes, Lady Valor,” Timonthy replied, his tone unwavering.
Moments later, a few members of Cloudshadow Sect moved forward, dragging the Cherry family and Felipe out of the room.
“Cassian, you’re allowing outsiders to harm your flesh and blood. You’ll pay for this!”
“And you, Raven, you vile woman, you’ll never die peacefully!”
Felipe screamed and cursed, still struggling even as the situation slipped further beyond his control. But it was all in vain.
Members of Cloudshadow Sect, irritated by his shouting, knocked him unconscious with a single blow and dragged him out like a sack of grain.
“Lady Valor, how should we handle her?”
Timonthy motioned to Tuesday, who was cowering in the corner, trembling.
“Cassian…”
Tuesday’s voice was weak, her eyes pleading as she looked at Cassian, trying to play on his sense of family.
“I’m sorry, Cassian. If I hadn’t believed the lies of the Cherry family, perhaps none of this would have happened…”
“That’s enough.” Cassian’s voice was cold, cutting through her words. “You don’t need to put on an act in front of me. I won’t pity you.”
He turned to Raven, his expression unwavering. “Raven, let’s send her to the police station. Let her face proper judgment—killing her would only soil your hands.”
Cassian could spare Tuesday’s life out of respect for the original’s memories, but that was where his mercy erided.
Tuesday had to face the consequences of her actions.
“Alright, it’s all up to you,” Raven said with a simple wave of her hand. Immediately, members of Cloudshadow Sect stepped forward and dragged the

sobbing Tuesday out of the room.
“Cassian! Cassian!” Tuesday’s panic was evident now. “You can’t be this heartless. I’m your mother, for heaven’s sake!”
“I don’t have a mother who would conspire with outsiders to betray her son for personal gain,” Cassian replied coldly.
Cassian felt no pity for Tuesday. Without a second glance, he allowed Tuesday to be hauled out by the Cloudshadow Sect members

The guests around them stood frozen, too terrified to even breathe. The heads of the families who had mocked Raven earlier were especially cautious, shrinking into themselves, their heads down, fearing that Raven would recognize them.
