Chapter 905
“Lady Valor, please, calm your anger! It is my fault, I failed to recognize you!” They all knelt before Raven, their voices filled with guilt and their laces streaked with tears.
“Even if you are Lady Valor of Cloudshadow Sect, you cannot disrupt the peace of Frihamen City!” Some of the protectors still refused to relent. “Theard from Janelle that you’ve disregarded the law and caused chaos in Frihamen City. You must”
Before they could finish, Raven calmly produced another badge–the emblem of the Forreb Military.
“My Lady!”
The protectors‘ faces went pale, and they quickly dropped to their knees.
There were only three such badges in the entire military, and someone of unparalleled status held each one.
“What is going on here?”
The warriors from the other sects exchanged confused looks.
“Don’t let this woman deceive you. Those badges could easily be forged…
Just then, Raven pulled out another badge, th
sone engraved with blood–red characters. “Azure Palace.”
“Lady Valor?”
Half of the warriors in the room collapsed to their knees, bowing their heads in reverence.
“Greetings, Lady Valor!”
These men were from Azure Palace, and they knew the true insignia when they saw it. For years, they had never seen the face of Lady Valor, but they had always been taught that seeing the badge was as good as seeing Lady Valor herself.
Unless she were dead, Lady Valor would never give her insignia to anyone. If something had truly happened to Lady Valor, only a chosen successor would have been able to possess the badge.
No matter what the truth was, the young woman standing before them had to be the Lady Valor they had sworn to follow, to the death. They thought,
‘What have we done?‘
They had fallen for Nash’s lies, insulting and berating their Lady Valor.
The more the members of Azure Palace thought about it, the more terrified they became. They lowered their heads in fear, dreading that Lady Valor might order their execution with a single command.
Except for Nash, Dangelo, and Julio, every other warrior in the room knelt before Raven, clearly shaken and filled with dread.
These were the top warriors from across Frihamen City, and the scene was nothing short of overwhelming.
Dangelo and Julio trembled like leaves in the wind, their faces ashen.
Even the man who had once been so smug–Benson–was pale, his eyes wide with shock.
“This can’t be…”
“How is this possible?”
How could that wretch, Raven, possess such incredible status? She was just a nobody from Vyrdenia. How could she make these people so fearful?

Chapter 905
“You’re not Raven!” Benson screamed, his voice cracking with desperation. “Who are you?”
With a thud, Nash dropped to his knees beside Benson, repeatedly bowing his head in front of Raven.
“My Lady, I was wrong! I truly understand my mistake!”
“I should never have set that trap for you in the name of the Larsson family’s future! Please, give me another chance! I swear I will repent for my actionate
Nash couldn’t understand how Raven could
the trap he had set all those years ago.
unharmed to Forreb after plunging into the Spatial Gate. He couldn’t fathom how she had fallen for
What he didn’t know was that everything had been within Raven’s control from the start, including his misguided scherries.
Raven had not been forced into a corner; she had willingly jumped into the Spatial Gate, choosing to descend into the lower realm to find Cassian.
But she hadn’t anticipated that the pressure from the Spatial Gate would exceed the limits of her body, forcing her to be reborn in the Bastion Prison, in the near–death form of Raven.
Nash was truly terrified now. How could he dare cross someone who could survive the Spatial Gate, when it killed so many others?
