The temperature in the room seemed to drop ten degrees from the sheer menace in that voice.
My nose stung with emotion and relief.
It was Dominic.
Dominic had brought more than a dozen of his most elite Gamma wolves with him.
These weren’t ordinary pack warriors–these were the Northern Territory’s finest soldiers, each one a deadly weapon in human
form.
The moment they entered, they immediately assessed the situation and took control.
The men who had been dragging me toward the basement suddenly found themselves facing professional killers.
They dropped their hands from me and backed away in terror.
Marcus and Serena’s friends started shouting and making a fuss, but their protests died in their throats when they saw the cold efficiency of Dominic’s men.
Those who were stupid enough to try to resist were quickly and brutally knocked to the ground.
Dominic himself strode over to me, moving through the chaos like an avenging angel.
He helped me up from the floor with gentle hands that contrasted sharply with the deadly aura surrounding him.
He was so heartbroken seeing my disheveled state that his eyes actually glistened with unshed tears.
He whispered in my ear, his voice rough with emotion: “I’m so sorry I came so late. I should have been here to protect you.”
I held him tightly, my nose burning as my voice choked up: “How did you know I was here? How did you find me?”
He said grimly, “Videos of what was happening to you here spread throughout the Eastern Territory pack networks within minutes. Every Alpha with any sense of honor was outraged.”
His voice hardened: “I mobilized every resource I had and spent precious time tracking down this exact mansion. I would have torn apart every building in the territory to find you.”
“Don’t worry, my love. With me here, you won’t suffer even the slightest injustice ever again. That’s a promise.”
At that moment, Marcus finally worked up the courage to approach us.
His face was a mixture of fury, disbelief, and growing panic as he realized exactly who he was facing.
He looked at Dominic with desperate bravado: “Who the hell are you? Aria is my mate. Don’t touch her.”
Dominic turned his attention to Marcus, and the look in his eyes was absolutely murderous.
“You?” Dominic’s voice was filled with contempt so deep it was like a physical blow. “I’ve been putting up with your pathetic existence for way too long.”
“I know everything you’ve done all these years. Every lie, every betrayal, every moment you made her cry.”
His fists clenched: “Today I’m finally going to teach you a lesson for Aria.”
Without warning, he punched Marcus square in the face with devastating force.
The sound of the impact echoed through the room like a gunshot.
His fists flew continuously in a brutal combination, each blow landing with professional precision.

Marcus was knocked to the ground in seconds, blood streaming from his nose and mouth.
Marcus flew into a desperate rage and tried to fight back, scrambling to his feet.
But Dominic’s guards immediately moved in and pinned him to the ground like he was nothing more than an annoying insect.
Marcus lay there with half his face swollen beyond recognition, blood staining his shift.
He looked up at me with growing panic: “Aria, who is this person? Did you really bond with him?”
I could hear the terror creeping into his voice as he finally realized the magnitude of what he’d lost.
I completely ignored him like he was invisible.
Instead, I pulled out my phone and called the enforcement squad with steady hands.
Then I recited a detailed compensation invoice from memory–every broken item, every damaged piece of property, every moment of trauma they’d caused me.
I threw the invisible bill at them like it was a physical thing.
“You’ll be hearing from my lawyers,” I said coldly.
Then I looked directly at Dominic’s Gamma wolves and ordered them with newfound authority: “Throw them all out of my house. Every single one of them.”
“And make sure they understand–if any of them ever come near me again, there will be consequences.”
