Chapter 775
Fabian said, “You guys are gonna be the first to go.”
Cathy smiled and said, “Not so fast. Fabian, you want the championship, and so do I. When the Skills Evaluation rolls around, we’ll see who comes out on top.”
Cathy thought, ‘Fabian’s team is the biggest threat here. If anyone’s getting eliminated first, it should be them. Seriously, where does he get the confidence to think we’re the weak ones who’ll be knocked out first?‘
With that, Cathy led her team away.
Emily said coolly, “Once the evaluation starts, we’re taking Fabian and his team out first.”
All members of Cathy’s team could sense that Fabian thought they were beneath him.
One of the teammates said, “That’s not gonna be easy. Cathy, if we’re teaming up with Aria, we should have her join our training. At least let us get some practice together.”
Cathy replied firmly, “No need for that. She’ll cooperate with us just fine.”
Although she said so, she wasn’t so sure deep down. She thought, ‘Aria has always been a lone wolf, will she be able to work well with a team? And what are her training methods?‘
Aria’s training style was as direct as ever–she just went and asked Caleb to let Myrtle train with her. After finishing a round with Owen, she’d spar with Myrtle next. With just two weeks left, she called Wilson in as well.
In the boxing club, Wilson had been sent flying so many times he’d lost count. He dramatically bowed and pleaded, “Aria, that’s enough. I can’t beat you.”
Silvia and Caleb had both shown up after work.
Seeing Aria beat Wilson until he begged for mercy, Silvía exclaimed, “Aria, you’re awesome.” She had become Aria’s super fangirl.
She rushed over with a clean towel and some water. Then she said, “Are you tired, Aria? Have some water first.”
Still sprawled on the floor, Wilson gave Silvia a pitiful look and said, “Silvia, can you at least notice me for once?”
After wiping Aria’s sweat, Silvia ran over and casually tossed Wilson a bottle of water. She said, “Here, Wilson.”
Wilson was speechless. He thought, ‘Silvia really knows how to handle people and situations. As long as she has Aria on her side, everyone else is
irrelevant.‘
Owen felt just as helpless. Every time Silvia got off work, she’d rush over here, always beating him to it when it came to bringing Aria water. He couldn’t exactly dash over in a hurry like Silvia did.
But then he comforted himself, ‘It doesn’t matter. After all, I am the only one in the world who gets to stick with Madelyn every single day. Letting Silvia have a chance to show off isn’t a big deal.’
Aria loosened up a bit and looked over at Myrtle. She asked, “Ready for another round?”
Myrtle darted behind Caleb and said, “Aria, I can’t do it anymore. Give me a break, please.”
Caleb spoke up, “Aria, let’s take a breather for now. Myrtle has been hauling stuff these past few days, so she’s out of energy. Let Owen spar with you for a
bit.”
Myrtle had been moving things lately. She was just trying to avoid getting dragged into another round with Aria when she was in full beast mode.

Chapter 775
Aria looked at Myrtle and Caleb with a deep, unreadable gaze. Then she said. “Alright, I’ll listen to you, Caleb,”
Caleb realized Aria had gotten the wrong idea, but he could only keep quiet.
Wilson slowly got up and shot Owen a look full of sympathy. He thought, ‘Since he can handle Aria, I’ve given my consent to their marriage.

Late July, the day before the Skills Evaluation, Aria was packing her bags in her room.
Owen stood in front of the closet, quietly folding his clothes and packing them into his suitcase, too.
Aria glanced up at him and said, “I’m gonna be gone for two weeks this time. You really wanna tag along?”
Owen nodded without even looking up. He said, “Of course.”
“Alright,” Aria replied, and went back to packing her things.
The room was quiet for a few seconds.
Owen paused, then moved over to her side. He asked, “Aren’t you even a little curious how I’m coming with you?”
