Chapter 533
Chapter 533
Celeste, Caleb, and Kieran had all come prepared, so their tables were already covered with all kinds of top–quality ingredients.
Salads, wine, champagne, pastries, and specialty drinks were neatly arranged in picnic baskets and laid out on blankets, making their picnic setup look effortlessly perfect. 1
After setting everything up, Caleb looked at the steak, lamb chops, and various seafood he’d brought along and asked Celeste, “Do you eat spicy food? These marbled lamb chops were flown in last night from out of town–I tried them before, the quality’s really good-”
Before he could finish, Kieran walked over, handed Celeste a drink, and cut him off. “This is a special drink I made. It tastes pretty good–want to try it?”
Since he was already holding it out, Celeste had no choice but to take it. “Thanks.”

She couldn’t ignore Caleb either, so she turned back to him and said, “I can eat spicy food. I’m not picky.”
Caleb smiled. “Okay.”
Then Celeste politely took a sip of the drink in her hand. It really was nice–blueberry flavored, her favorite. The berries had been perfectly blended, giving it a refreshing taste that caught her by surprise. 2
“It’s really good. I like it, thank you.”
Having worked by her side for a few months, Kieran naturally knew her tastes better than anyone. He’d even asked someone to create new flavors based on what she liked.
Hearing her say she liked it, his smile deepened. “Glad to hear that. I had them mix a few other flavors too–there’s a raspberry one. Want to try it later?”
Celeste nodded. “Sure.”
When she looked up again, she saw Lottie across the way winking at her.
Lottie tried not to laugh, leaning toward Matthias and whispering, “Looks like I came at the right time.”
Honestly, this was way more entertaining than watching a meteor shower.
When she noticed Matthias frowning instead of laughing, she asked, “What’s wrong?”
Matthias was staring straight at Celeste, Caleb, and Kieran, looking a little dazed. “So… Kieran also likes Cel-?”

“You didn’t know?”
“I didn’t!” he said, dumbfounded.
He’d only just realized it! No wonder Kieran was so eager for this little camping trip–turned out he had his own agenda too.
Lottie was speechless.
She glanced back at them again and then whispered, “I don’t think Cel noticed before, but now…‘
Caleb and Kieran, of course, knew their limits. Neither wanted Celeste to feel uncomfortable. After checking what she liked, they both walked over to where Lottie and Matthias were.
Seeing them approach, Lottie quickly shut her mouth.
Caleb was the first to speak. “Mr. Yoder, Ms. Cruz, would you like to try my cooking later? I’m not great at making full meals, but I can handle barbecues.”
Lottie smiled. “Sure, thank you, Mr. Jennings.”
Matthias nodded. “Appreciate it.”
Kieran also introduced the ingredients he’d brought along, and before long, the mood among the group had become quite pleasant.
A little while later, Lottie leaned toward Celeste and whispered with a grin, “So? How does it feel being the center of attention, surrounded by handsome men?”
Celeste held her drink, completely speechless for a moment.
