Matilda couldn’t help but want to call out that name.

Allen put Matilda’s hands around his neck.
His left hand was on Matilda’s shoulder, and his right hand went under her knees.
He hooked his arms upwards.
He picked up Matilda and quickly left.
The waiters glanced at each other in confusion.

“I don’t know.”
“The woman has been taken away by another man. Why isn’t Mr. Grimes coming down?”
“I don’t know. Mr. Grimes said no one is going up, no matter what happens, so let’s just stay here as told.”
