“What is Mr. Lane playing at?” someone shouted. “He was supposed to hold a press conference, but now he’s not showing up.‘

A reporter pressed, “Busy with what?”
Martin, standing nearby, blurted out, “Mrs. Lane is here, so he’s busy keeping her company!”
Warren shot him a sharp look. “There are things you say and things you don’t say. Don’t you know
that?”
Martin stammered, “Sorry.”
Warren straightened his posture. “Alright, that concludes this press briefing. Thank you all for your time. You may disperse.”
With that, Warren led Martin away.
Martin had just let slip an important detail: Mrs. Lane was here.
The reporters immediately started speculating. “Oh my god! Mrs. Lane is here! Mr. Lane didn’t even ́show up for the press conference just to keep her company?”
