Mike paused his action as he looked down at Taylor.

The drone community was small, and tech experts were even fewer. Thus, Jesse’s unique modifications made her easy to track.

This gave Mike another thought.

Jesse is still very young, so there was no way she could develop the tech on her own. Mike felt that Jesse must have learned this from someone else. If he found that person and recruited them, the problem would be solved perfectly. However, he had to fix the drone first.

Mike thought for a moment before sending Jesse a message.

Mike’s expression turned grim, and he sent another message. “I’ll pay you 100,000 per drone, okay?”

Looking at this message, Mike almost smashed his phone in rage.

Taylor also saw it, and her lips twitched into a hidden smile. However, she quickly pressed it down when he glanced her way.

Mike asked with a dark face, “Do you know what classes Jesse has tomorrow?”

Of course, Taylor didn’t know. After all, why would she care about Jesse’s schedule?

Mike grunted coldly and left.

Meanwhile, Jesse was sitting in Lyman’s car. He had picked her

She hadn’t even changed his contact name yet, as it still read ‘Dear Mike.‘

However, there was no need to change it now. Without even looking at his words, she blocked him instantly.

“Are you still chatting with them while you are here with me?” A deep voice sounded from beside her.

Lyman leaned over and took her phone away from her. His suit outlined his perfect frame. The loosened tie added a touch of roguishness, yet his noble aura remained.

Jesse jumped in surprise. Only then did she realize they had stopped at a red light.

Her cheeks flushed. She snatched the phone back and quickly explained, “No, I was just blocking him.” She didn’t want to have any more contact with the Spencer family.

Hearing her words, Lyman smiled. A flash of adoration flashed across his eyes as he ruffled her hair gently. “I was joking.”
