You’re not the only one on the verge of a nervous breakdown here. Why did everything have to go wrong today?” I let out a tired sigh.
That’s the question I’ve been asking myself all day. “I pick up the coffee the secretary has kindly brought and take a long sip.
“And don’t forget that in two months‘ time, we have that business trip to the United States, okay?” Max reminds me, with a serious look on his face.
Damn! I completely forgot that detail! With so much paperwork to sign, my heads about to explode.
And with a schedule full of meetings, you’re not the only one exhausted here. Now, I need that paper.
“He snorts, visibly frustrated.
“Come back in half an hour; I have to dig this thing out of this mountain of papers. “I roll my eyes, feeling the pressure mounting.
“We’d better; we can’t postpone this meeting. “Max sighs.
“I know, brother. I’ll sign that damn thing as soon as I find it. ” Suddenly, Max’s cell phone starts ringing.
“It’s our goddess.” He says this, a smile crossing his tense face.
“Pick it up soon.
He answers quickly.
“Hi, my goddess. Is something wrong?
He suddenly falls silent, but his expression says it all: he’s surprised.
What is it? “I whisper, worried.
“Are you telling me you’re in our company?
My eyes widen in surprise. She’s here? Is our goddess really here?

The atmosphere in the elevator was heavy with tension and anger. Mas pressed button for our private elevator firmly, his clenched fists showing his
frustration
That bastard Mia didn’t want to warn us that our goddess was here, and she had the nerve to send her away. He snarled, his eyes sparking with anger.
A shiver ran down my spine as I heard his indignant words. I ran my tongue nervusly over my lips, feeling my blood boil.
That fucking little bitch has been bothering me for a long time,” I growled, makg Max glare at me. “You can fire her, Max. Since she had the nerve to humiliate our goddess in front of those people, you can humiliate her too.
Max nodded resolutely, his eyes sparking with pure determination.
It would be a great pleasure. And you know there are a lot of people down there” He gave me a meaningful look.
“You take care of it, brother. Threaten them all; no one should leak any information about our girlfriend.
You got it.
The elevator doors opened, and we quickly stepped out, ready to face whatever was waiting for us downstairs. We soon spotted our goddess, her gentle smile illuminating our momentary darkness.
Hi.” She greeted, her voice soft and reassuring.
“You shouldn’t even be asking them to warn us, my love. You should just have called us. ” I said softly, feeling relieved by her presence.
The headache that had been tormenting me disappeared instantly in her presence
“I just followed your mother’s instructions. She said I could go to reception and ask them to let you know I’m here,” she explained, but our deadly gazes were directed at that bitch Mia.
Why didn’t you obey her? Every time people come in here asking you to let them know you’ve arrived, you act like you’re the queen of this place!!! ” Max exploded with rage. “I’m tired of being told that you’re being rude to visitors! Get your things and get out of here!
