After exchanging polite greetings with them, Trevor got into his car and drove away.
Watching his car disappear into the distance, Xavier finally snapped out of it. He looked at Jorge, shocked and fired up. “So… Trevor and Celeste both cheated? Holy shit! This is insanely explosive!” 64
Jorge said nothing.
It had been a long time since he’d seen Trevor and Celeste have any private interaction. He’d thought that whatever was between them had already come to an end.
Who would’ve thought-
His expression darkened as he turned around and got into the car.
Xavier hurried after him. Only then did he realize that Jorge didn’t seem nearly as shocked as he was.
It hit him instantly. “Wait. You actually knew about this already?”
Jorge still didn’t speak.
Xavier followed him into the car. “When did this start? There was something this explosive, and you never told me?”
Jorge’s face remained grim. Before Xavier had even properly settled into his seat, Jorge slammed down on the accelerator.
Xavier was startled.
But seeing Jorge’s expression, he immediately understood–Jorge was worried about Wynn. And he felt sorry for her. Realizing this, Xavier rubbed his nose.
After a moment, another thought struck him.

“But then again… If Trevor really breaks up with Ms. Locket, wouldn’t that mean you finally have a chance? That’d actually be a good thing for you.”
Jorge tightened his grip on the steering wheel, his heart stirring slightly.
Of course, he’d thought about that too. But whether Wynn and Trevor would actually break up…
After a brief pause, Jorge seemed to remember something and said “They might not break up. Don’t spread this around.”
Xavier replied, “Alright. But we can tell Caleb, right?”
“You can, but Caleb isn’t interested in this kind of thing.”
About ten minutes later, Jorge’s car pulled up in front of a quiet bar
When they entered the private room, Caleb was already there waiting.
The moment he saw them, Caleb keenly sensed something off. “What’s wrong?”
Xavier cleared his throat. “It’s still about Ms. Locket… We just saw Trevor being pretty intimate with another woman, and that woman happens to be-”
Jorge coughed lightly.
Fine. Xavier shut up.
Caleb wasn’t particularly interested in Wynn’s situation. Seeing their expressions, he didn’t press further.
Even though the situation between Trevor and Celeste was extremely explosive, there were still plenty of other pieces of gossip waiting for Xavier to dig into.
He turned to Caleb and asked, “What about you? I heard the moment you got home earlier, your family already set you someone. How was it? What was the girl like?”
Caleb shook his head. “I made things clear after the meal,”
Xavier blinked. “Didn’t like her?”
“Mm.”
“Why?”
Caleb paused for a moment before saying, “I already have someone I like.”
Not only did Xavier freeze, but even Jorge was stunned.
Xavier blurted out, “Holy shit–wait, you’re serious? Since when? How come I didn’t know? Who is it? If you already like someone, why didn’t you just tell your family straight up?”
Caleb didn’t answer.
Xavier hesitated, then glanced at Jorge. Suddenly, something clicked.
But he didn’t quite dare believe it.
He swallowed, hesitated for two seconds, then cautiously asked, “Caleb… Don’t tell me you’re like Jorge and fall for someone else’s… girlfriend?” 1
Caleb replied calmly, “No.”
Xavier was just about to sigh in relief. Even Jorge smiled.
Then, without warning, Caleb added, “She’s married.” 17
