Everything is so Acres of meadows and forests separate the homes of Ragnar’s people. This is what I imagine Middle–earth is like when it rains. It’s that beautiful. The weather isn’t favorable, I can barely see through some of the fog. and it’s starting to get dark, but what I can see is truly amazing. can’t believe I’ve refused to come here as a kid to spate my grandmother and to hurt my dad for not doing anything about the way grandma spoke to my mom.
As we approach the castle, I am left stunned. I expected something scary. Like Dracula’s castle, but I am way off. The style is stone wall, but the medieval structure is Disney–worthy and very well kept. It’s right in the center of the hills dip, which is filled with water. It’s elevated to look as if it were floating, and it large enough for the three grand towers at the top to barely peak over the hills.
“I forgot you’ve never been here before, my Grandmother reaches out for my hand. “It’s pretty, yes?”
“Pretty doesn’t even begin to describe it, I say, squeezing her hand.
The Kings will be upset about the news, but if I am required to say, would you stay with me? Perhaps I can give you a tour later?
“I would love that, I agree without hesitation. She smiles, please that I haven’t denied her a single request since she’s been

The car crosses the stone bridge and enters the courtyard, then reaches the entrance. As soon as it comes to a stop, several guards run out to greet us. One of them is holding two umbrella He hands one over to a woman, and she comes around to open my side of the door.
“Lady Helvig,” she bows politely and extends her hand out.
“Hand her your things, Sophia,” my grandmother instructs. I hold out my bag and my carrier. She takes them and to allow me room to climb out of my grandmother’s Bentley.
“Hello, I greet the guard and bow as politely as she did. Thank you for your help.”
She stares at me, stunned for a moment.
“Sophia,” my grandmother calls.
“Corning.”

There are guards everywhere. They’re standing around like states. They’re all dressed in royal blue suits with black button- ups underneath. I wonder if that means something. While the structure itself is ancient, the inside is fairly modern, like my grandma’s villa. Except the ceilings here are very, very high. I be if I scream, the echo would be so satisfying
“Don’t you dare,” my grandmother scolds.
“What?” I ask, feeling my face heat up.
“Your brothers screamed at the top of their lungs to hear the ecl. I know you’re thinking it.” she smirks
“Maybe as we’re leaving then, I laugh.
She rolls her eyes and speeds up. I have to practically run after speed is kind of scary. How do they even control not crashing in

The woman places my things next to my grandmother’s stuff on the table where the other guard left them. I open my bag and take my laptop out to unlock it. I look over at my grandmother, not knowing whether I should be the one to approach him or let her

“Sophie.” Ivar stands and comes over to me. I smile and hug him back. “How are you feeling?”
“Much better,” I admit.
“Good. I’ve been worried about you. Sorry for not coming to see you. I’ve been busy,” he clears his throat..
“I get it,” I wave it off. “How are you? Have you spoken to-” he stops me and motions his dad with his eyes. “I haven’t spoken to any of my friends.”
“I’m sure they’re waiting for your call. We should catch up later.”
“How long have you been sitting on these?” the King asks me.
“They’ve been in my parents‘ home. I haven’t been there since I was thirteen, when I moved into the dorms at Artume Academy. We discovered them recently
“I discovered them to try and find a way to get her out of that city when the alphas started blocking our every exit.” Ivar says. “I didn’t know what we were looking at. I thought they were just shady business deals with the rogues. I didn’t know he was involved, Father.”
“Who has seen these?”
“I gave them to Beta Prince Carter to make public record in the court of the Alpha King.” I inform him. “Since they are packland records”
“So the Alpha King knows?”
“Yes,” Ragnar answers.
These lawfully belong to you, Sophia. It is your inheritance. I would like you to go with Ivar and Ragnar to negotiate the handover from the Alpha King. Ragnar, you know what to do. I expect to have these dogs put down as soon as possible,” he growls.
“Sir, I raise my hand. They all look at me, and I how my head. “Forgive me. I don’t mean to impose, but going to the Alpha King’s court isn’t ideal. Especially with the way any King and I le earlier today.
“I don’t mean to undersell the value of these documents, but the have to be presented to the court of Alphas to initiate an investigation. The Alphia King’s court has a very efficient system trial by the people. If you go down there demanding they hand over the Romanos, they will have no choice but to defendeurselves because you aren’t from the packlands. None of uns are. It could mean war.

“You lost as much as we did,” he slams his hands on the table, making me jump.

“If the packlands fail, then you’re free to take what you want. You can take your soldiers straight to Arture and take them. We’ve all wanted eight years to know why this happened. We kndy now. We have to do the right thing and share this with the families of the other victims. If the Alpha King doesn’t let us get them, the people will. Of that, I am completely sure. We need to deal with this carefully, or it can spiral out of control.”
