Chapter 50
Kane’s POV
With the new information from Reggie, we wasted no time in heading to the jet – preparing to fly to
Russian soil to save the girls.
As we climbed on to the jet, the engines roared immediately as we gathered around and prepared to take off with the intent of meeting our allies at the set location to attack tomorrow.
Maps were spread out on tables, each detail meticulously scrutinized as we plotted our course. We discussed tactics, routes and decided which pack to investigate first: having now narrowed down to two packs in the North both close enough to the said landing strip that Reggie had lead us to.
Seth, Anthony and I conferred with our most trusted allies, discussing strategies and contingencies for every possible scenario. Every decision was weighed carefully, every option considered as we prepared to embark on our mission to rescue Tessa and Erin.
But amidst the chaos of preparation, there was a palpable undercurrent of emotion running through our ranks. Adrenaline, anger, and determination mingled together, each member of our team. grappling with their own feelings about the task ahead having heard horror stories about the
Russian packs.
For me, the overwhelming emotion was a burning sense of guilt. Guilt for not being there to protect Tessa and Erin when they needed me most, guilt for letting them down when they had trusted me to
keep them safe.
If only we hadn’t have shut them out… they must just think we left them to rot,
The atmosphere crackled with tension, but also with a fierce determination to rescue Tessa and Erin at any cost most males now understanding just how much the tiny human actually meant to me
now.
Each member of my pack understood the gravity of the situation, and none hesitated in their
commitment to the mission to back me up and to help out…
With the jet loaded and ready to go, I gathered my pack members around me, their faces etched with determination as we prepared to embark on our journey. I could see the fire burning in their eyes, a

reflection of my own unwavering resolve to bring of humans home,
But amidst the flurry of activity, a call came through from a member of country leaders council, one who sought to advise caution in the face of our reckless determination. His words were measured and calm, a stark contrast to the urgency that fueled our own actions…
“Kane, we advise you to stop this foolishness! We do not support this!” He begins, as the jet sets up
to take off.
“F**k off Frederick and stop wasting my time. Remind me to pay you and your council a visit when I get back too eh? None of this mess would have happened if you would all keep your training centres under control!” I retaliate, with the males around my growing silent to give me the space to argue
back.
“Yes we understand that you are upset about what has happened Kane but we can get you any human you want to make up for this? F**k, you can even have ten if you want? Let the girl go, she’s lost in Russia now… it’s a waste of time for everyone and she’s only a human – please see reason!” Frederick responds, as I almost crush the phone in my hand from how tight I was holding the device.
I’ll just have to add him to my hit list at this rate too…
“Your lack of support just might have been enough to send me over the edge here Fred… if I were you, I would go back to your little council and make plans for war. I’ll rip every last one of you out of your chairs when I’m back and I’ll turn this fucking country on its head if I need to! Do I make myself clear?! Have a nice day!” I state, before ending the call just as the jet lifts off from the ground – carrying us up into the sky.
The males around me all cheer with pride – having witnessed my argument with one of the ‘higher up‘ country leaders as I can’t help but chuckle slightly at their support.
“F**king hell bro, you’ve caused war with Russia and now your own country too? At least try to keep us all alive then eh?” Seth states loudly, causing another eruption of laughter to bounce around
the cabin as I shake my head at his joke.
The journey ahead would be perilous, fraught with danger and uncertainty, but I knew that we were prepared to face whatever obstacles stood in our way – fight til the death.
The roar of the engines filled the air as the jet lifted us higher and higher, carrying us every bit

closer to our final destination.
We would press on, fueled by the fire of our determination and the unwavering belief that we would
succeed.
The journey began to settle down, as the men all made themselves comfortable and chatted in smaller groups. Seth and Anthony sat beside me, as Seth’s expression turned grave as he voiced his concerns about what awaited us on the other side.
“I can’t shake this feeling, Kane,” Seth said, his voice low and tinged with worry. “The Russians operate by a completely different set of rules to us. What if they harm Tessa and Erin before we even get there?” He states, as the thought alone makes me feel sick.
His words struck a chord within me, echoing the fears that had been gnawing at the edges of my own mind as I tried to keep them at bay.
The Russian packs were known for their ruthlessness and brutality, and the thought of Tessa and Erin falling into their hands filled me with a sense of dread. But despite the risks, I refused to let
doubt cloud my resolve.
“We’ll do whatever it takes to keep them safe and to rescue them swiftly, Seth,” I replied, my voice steady despite the turmoil raging inside me. “We won’t let anything happen to them, it will be worth every last fight in the end.” I confirm, as he sighs heavily and closes over his eyes – seeming unsettled by it all which was understandable.
I had never in my life seen Seth act this way about a female, which only confirmed his true feelings
for Erin.
But even as I spoke the words, a nagging sense of uncertainty lingered in the back of my mind. The Russians were a formidable enemy, and their beliefs and customs were vastly different from our own which only meant that I was leading my warriors into no man’s land.
We would have to think ten steps ahead in order to survive.
Would we be able to navigate their world and emerge unscathed? Or would we become victims of
their ruthless machinations?
As the hours stretched on and the jet continued its journey towards Russia, I found myself lost in thought, grappling with the weight of the unknown that lay ahead as I conspired a variety of

at nothing to bring Tessa and
But despite the uncertainty, one thing remained clear: we would Erin back safely. No matter what dangers awaited us in Russia, we would face them head–on, armed with nothing but our determination and the unwavering belief that we would succeed.
As the first light of dawn began to peek over the horizon, casting a soft glow over the cabin, I knew that our journey was far from over. Ahead of us lay a path fraught with danger and uncertainty, but we would press on, fueled by the fire of our determination and the unshakeable belief that we would
prevail.
This is it…
