Chapter 63
Eliana’s eyes were cold as she listened to Aurora. Her voice was y as she asked. “Tell me, what did I do?
Aurora, if you’re going to come here and cause such a commotion, you’d better have some real evidence. Otherwise, I will sue you for slander.
“Eliana, how dare you talk to me like that?” Aurora was genuinely taken aback by Eliana’s reaction, her tone turning sharp with displeasure.
Eliana shot back. “Why wouldn’t I? Aurora, to me, you’re just a spoiled airhead. Do I really need to tiptoe around someone like you?
I’m not your parents, so I don’t have to pamper you. What’s wrong, can’t handle a little criticism? If I were Logan, I’d be mortified to have a sister like you.
“You burst in here making a scene with zero evidence. It’s not drama, it’s a pathetic spectacle. Even a bad actress would bring a script.”
Aurora was absolutely furious. She gritted her teeth and hissed, Eliana, do you really think you can treat me like this just because I don’t have any evidence? Fine, you want proof? I’ll show you.”
Aurora dug out her phone, her hands and voice shaking. “I tried to handle this privately, but you’ve forced my hand. Let’s see how you enjoy the spotlight.
“Since we’ve got an audience, let’s all take a good look at what the so–called head of Lyons Group is really like behind the
scenes.
“You haven’t even divorced my brother yet, and you’re already desperate to hook up with another guy. How could someone like her possibly run a successful business?
“Seriously, with a boss like that, aren’t you all worried you might not even get your next paycheck?”
Aurora’s loud outburst turned quite a few heads in the crowd. As she pulled out her phone, everyone grew curious, eager to see what kind of evidence she had.
Eliana had nothing to hide. Like everyone else, she was honestly looking forward to seeing what kind of mess Aurora would make of herself this time.
As the video started playing on Aurora’s phone, even the security guys were craning their necks to see what was going on. The clip was pretty short. But instead of giving Eliana dirty looks like Aurora had planned, everyone just started murmuring and gossiping among themselves.
“Seriously, this is the worst attempt at framing someone I’ve ever seen,” someone muttered.
“For real. Ms. Lyons nearly got into an accident, and instead of caring about her, her sister–in–law comes running over just to throw shade,” another person chimed in.
“The Eliot family is just wild. I used to think all that talk about them bossing Ms. Lyons around like she’s their housekeeper was just gossip, but now I totally believe it,” someone else added.
“No wonder Ms. Lyons would walk away even if it means leaving her kid behind. That marriage sounds like a nightmare. If it were me, I’d be out of there too,” someone else chimed in.
“Seriously, they can turn a car accident into a cheating rumor just like that? Who knows what other stories they’ll make up.
That sister–in–law is both dumb and nasty. I’ve never seen anyone expose themselves like this before,” someone else added.

The murmurs in the crowd kept getting louder, and Aurora’s face grew uglier by the minute.
She honestly never expected that the video she thought would love Eliana was cheating would totally backfire and make her look ridiculous instead.
“I sec. You’re all Lyons Group people, so of course you’re going cover for her. But let’s be real, everyone here knows the truth. You can’t just pretend nothing happened,” Aurora shot back
But no matter how much she tried to sound convincing, everyone just kept watching her like she was making a spectacle of
herself.
Aurora had never been treated like this before, and her face fell, he just couldn’t hide how wronged she felt.
Her eyes brimmed with frustrated tears, and she could only lash out at Eliana again.
“Eliana, you’re just ganging up on me with your people on purpose. I’m telling Logan about this for sure.
“If you still want to go back to the Eliot family and see Samuel, then you’d better beg me for forgiveness. Just wait, one day you’ll regret all of this,” Aurora threatened.
But as soon as she said that, the crowd’s gossip only got louder.
“She wants Ms. Lyons to beg her? Who does she think she is?” someone snarked.
“Right? Using the kid to threaten Ms. Lyons, now that’s seriously messed up,” another person chimed in.
The gossip kept getting louder, and Aurora’s face flushed with embarrassment. She couldn’t bear to stay any longer.
“Eliana, just you wait,” Aurora shot her a glare before turning on her heel and walking out.
Eliana, who had barely said a word until now, finally shot her a cold look. “Leaving already? Aurora, weren’t you here to drop some bombshell evidence? Seriously? All that drama for a dashcam clip?”
“Eliana, don’t get too full of yourself. I’ll dig up the real dirt sooner or later, just you wait. And when I do, you’ll be kicked out with nothing to your name,” Aurora threatened.
Just as Aurora was about to walk out, Eliana spoke up, her voice icy and firm. “Stop her.”
The people at the door quickly blocked her way.
Aurora instantly freaked out, yelling at Eliana, “Why are you stopping me? What gives you the right? What? Feeling guilty because you’ve got something to hide?
“Who says you can keep me here? Don’t think I won’t call the cops on you.”
“No need for you to call. I’ve already called the cops,” Eliana said, her voice icy and deliberate as she stared Aurora down. “That video you just played? That’s your smoking gun. That car nearly hit me and Mr. Turner, then sped off in a hit–and–run. “I’ve been wracking my brain trying to figure out who did it, and now I’ve got all the proof I need. Aurora, get ready to do some time in prison,” she added.
Eliana stared her down, deliberately gritted her teeth and said word by word, in a cold tone.
As soon as Eliana said that, the crowd quickly caught on, and their attitude toward Aurora grew even more hostile.
“It wasn’t me, seriously. Someone else sent me that video. I don’t even know what’s going on,” Aurora was freaking out, voice frantic.

Eliano, you can’t just blame ine for this. I didn’t do anything. Why are you trying to set me up? I’m saying I didn’t do it, so that’s that, Aurora added.
Aurora was shouting at the top of her lungs, and just then, the sound of police sirens blared from outside.
