It was Friday and in the last two days I had only received maybe four text messages from Vince. Every time I tried to call he wouldn’t answer but sometimes I would get a text saying he was busy and would call me soon. I got one good morning text with an apology and one to say he was at court and was busy with a case. To say I was frustrated, was an understatement. What started off as the beginning of an amazing relationship was slowly fading away. Wes it because of the distance? Was Vince really that busy? Is that why he never had a girlfriend, because he never had time? So many things and srezaring played in my head. Taylor felt sorry for me. She kept apologies for her stupid brother and was trying to help me,
Taylor tried to cheer me up with outings and activities. She even called Blake and Rocky to help her take my mind off my failing relationship. However, when Friday rolled around, Rocky and her had to go see Rocky’s mum, She promised she would make it up to me as soon as she was back but for now I had to suffer alone at home.
After I finished up work, I made my way home. Once I got to our apartment, I was welcomed by gloaming desolation.
As I turned on the kitchen lights, there on the counter was a bouquet of roses and chocolates. A little card poked out of the flowers. I walked up and picked up the card.
“I’m sorry” was written across it in big letters.
“I’m sorry, babe” came a voice from behind me that made me jump.
“Fuck Vince! What the hell!? You gave me a fright” I said trying to steady my heart.
“Shit I’m sorry” he replied and quickly walked over to me. “I’m sorry for everything” he went to hold me but I stepped back.
“You’ve been avoiding and ignoring me. So no, you don’t get to hug me right now. What is going on with you?” Anger sipping through my words.
“I’ve been busy, Rosy. Being a lawyer isn’t easy, you know. I have court and clients and all sorts. Look, I’m sorry but I didn’t do it on purpose” he ran his hands through his hair.
“Okay, I understand but you don’t even get time to flick your girlfriend one text to say hi how are you? Is that so hard? Am I asking for so much!?” My voice was quite high now.
“No, no you’re right, I should try harder. I didn’t mean to upset you. Please, I’m sorry” Vince wrapped his arms around my waist. I pushed him away again. He was too eager to touch me.
“Look, I may be new to this relationship thing and I’m sorry if I sound too demanding but we’ve literally started and you’re already acting like an ass. Is this what it’s going to be like? I mean yes, we have distance between us and I’m willing to work on making this work but I can’t do it by myself,” I kept my distance from Vince and chose my words wisely.
“Vince, I told you not to make me regret this and here we are not even a week later arguing.” I turned away from him.
“Babe, I said I’m sorry. I’m not good at this and you already know that. This is why I never had a committed relationship before but I really want this to work with you. Come on, please. I’ll work on it and I promise it will be different.” He was begging and again came up from behind and wrapped his arms
around me.
I sighed and closed my eyes.
Vince started to kiss my neck and my shoulder. I honestly didn’t feel like being touched so I started pushing him away.

“Vince, come on, let me go.” I pushed but he wouldn’t let go and kept kissing my neck and nibbling on my ear
“Vince, please. Stop will you” I was wriggling harder now.
He let go of my waist and turned me around. Suddenly I was pushed up against the kitchen cupboard and Vince had his hody pressed to mine.
“Vince, what the hell!? Let me go!!” I started pushing him harder and fighting against his hold.
