Chapter 35
The drive to Greenwoods was very quiet. Blake occasional said things here and there but I just wasn’t in the mond to talk. I used the scenery to keep my
mind occupied and not think of all the things that had happened today.
Once we got off the highway, Blake pulled over at a gas station and turned off the car.
“Okay so now which way?” He asked.
I punched in the address in his car GPS and looked at him.
“Follow her” I said and sat back.
Blake started the car again and turned the way the GPS asked. It was a nerve wrecking 15mins. The closer we got the more nervous I got. Blake was definitely going to kick me out as well. It was all easy to say you can stay for as long as you need, until you find out why they got kicked out to begin with.
Blake pulled up to the night club on the other end of town. The bar was adjacent to a run down apartment building that looked like it was going to topple over any minute. Blake parked his car in a spot in the middle. He turned off the car and looked at me again.
“Which one are we going too?”
I looked at my watch, it was 4pm now. “The club. Come on” I said and got out of the car. The smell of wet mud and rust filled the air. This part of town wasn’t very flashy like where the Callum’s lived. I walked towards the entrance of the building and I could feel Blake walking close behind. Was he scared or was he trying to protect me? Because I was neither of those things.
As we got closer to the entrance, there were 2 huge guys standing at the door. One had a black leather jacket on with black pants and black shoes. The the other had a white blazer on with black pants and shoes. They were both facing each other talking while puffing on a smoke.
They must have heard as because they both turned to look at us.
“Well well well look who’s decided to grace us with her presence. Look Jimmy, she even brought a body guard” said the first one.
“Bodyguard? Why you need one of those baby girl? We not enough security for ya?” Jimmy said and stepped forward.
“Jimmy, Carlos. Nice to see you boys again” was all I said and crossed my arms. “This is Blake, his Ugh.. his my boyfriend” I looked up at Blake and he
arched his eyebrow.

“Boyfriend huh? You think bringing him here is a good idea?” Carlos was looking Blake up and down.
“Well I thought I’d introduce him to the family. Let him get to know everyone better” I laughed and Jimmy joined me. Blake looked very confused but just stayed quiet.
“Baby girl I’m sure your mother will be pleased to meet this fine young man” Jimmy said and walked over and opened the bar doors “welcome home”
I grabbed Blake’s hand and pulled him in. He didn’t let go, instead he tightened his fingers around mine.
“Welcome home? What the Fuxk does that mean?” Blake asked as we walked down a dim lit hallway. We got to the end and there was another door. The door was vibrating from the loud music playing inside and the edges of the door had lights flicking through.

Chapter 35
I sighed “just keep an open mind okay” I said and opened the door letting the loud music engulf us. I pulled Blake in with me and walked over to towards the bar. Blake’s mouth had dropped open and he was looking around shocked.
“This is a strip club Rose. You brought me to a strip club?!” He had pressed himself to my back and talked loudly over the music.
There were half naked girls everywhere. Some on the stage on poles, some on men’s laps, some of tables, some of the chairs and some walking around
with trays serving drinks.
1 dragged Blake to a table in the corner. I motioned for him to sit down.
“I’ll get us a drink, stay here and don’t move” I yelled in his ear and walked to the bar. I tried keeping an eye on him as girls started to walk over to him. I grabbed 2 beers and walked back to the table.
