Chapter 1157
Ivy’s mind went completely blank. She didn’t know what she was thinking, and she didn’t know what she was supposed to say.
Before she could even react, Nathan broke eye contact, turned, and went upstairs.
His attitude was distant and cold, snapping straight back to the unfamiliar distance they had had before. No, it was worse than before.
Ivy’s fingers slowly curled around the milk glass. In her heart, she had already prepared herself for divorce. At least this was the better outcome. He hadn’t gone after the baby. He hadn’t forced her to terminate the pregnancy. In his own way, he had left her some dignity.
“Mr. Lowe, why are you going upstairs?” Wanda looked at Nathan, confused.
“Wanda,” Ivy called out.
“Mrs. Lowe, what’s going on with Mr. Lowe?” she asked.
“He found out I’m pregnant.”
“He did?” Wanda’s eyes lit up. “That’s wonderful! You should’ve told him right away. But… Why doesn’t he look happy at all?”
Wanda took Ivy’s hand, comforting her.
“The baby you’re carrying is part of the Lowe family. Don’t worry. I’ll call his grandfather right now to give him a good scolding.”
Warmth spread through Ivy’s chest. Even though her relationship with Nathan had sunk to rock bottom, at least Keith and Wanda were genuinely kind to her.
“No, don’t call Grandpa.”
“But…”
“Trust me. Nathan and I can handle this ourselves. Please give us some private space.”
Only then did Wanda nod. “Alright.”
As she spoke, Wanda suddenly remembered something.
“Right, you’re scheduled for a hospital checkup today. Should I go with you, or should Mr. Lowe?”
“Uh… Nathan will come with me.‘
“Okay.”

Ivy finished her milk and stood up. “I’m heading to work.”
Ivy left after that.
Wanda sighed softly. “Mrs. Lowe’s pregnant and still working harder than ever. A woman shouldn’t push

herself like this.”

Ivy arrived at her studio.
Madge walked in. “You wanted to see me?”
“Yes,” Ivy said. “I need you to draft a document for me.”
“What kind of document?”
“A divorce agreement,” Ivy replied calmly.
Madge froze. “Why do you need a divorce agreement? Wait… You’re not divorcing Mr. Lowe, are you?”
“I am.”
“Why? You two seemed so close not long ago. You even went to the movies together. How did it suddenly come to this?”
“That’s not something you need to worry about. Just draft the agreement,” Ivy said. “After we got married, Nathan focused on Lowe Group, and I focused on my designs. Our finances are completely separate. I don’t want a single dollar from him.”
“You should really think this through,” Madge urged. “Even if you’re divorcing him, with Mr. Lowe’s net worth, he should give you at least tens of millions. You’re pregnant, after all.”
“I can afford to raise the child myself,” Ivy said quietly. “I have no financial demands. But there’s one condition. The divorce can’t be disclosed to either family for one year. Draft the agreement exactly as I said.”
She wanted nothing.
Her only requirement was that the divorce would only be made public after one year.
One year was enough time. She would make sure Kate and Noelle were completely driven out.
She believed Nathan would allow her that.
“Alright,” Madge said. “I’ll take care of it right away.”
Not long after, Madge returned with a document in hand.
“The lawyer has reviewed it. There are no issues. Once Mr. Lowe signs, the divorce agreement will take effect immediately.”
