“Are you going to get your marriage certificate? I thought you were supposed to get engaged first?” she asked.
Elnora replied calmly, “We were planning to get engaged first, but with the company getting busy soon, we decided to just get the marriage certificate now.”

Marina pretty much knew what the Campbell family’s terms were, but it was hard to swallow. Elnora was being treated like she was just something for the Campbells to shop for, a price tag slapped on her.

She continued, “Marina, this is actually a good thing.
“Compared to those scheming, penny–pinching families in Vrufield who are itching to take over the Finley Group, the Campbell family is actually pretty generous.
“They don’t even care about the Finley Group. Albert and I already signed a prenup, and he’s volunteered to help us clear all our debts.”
With the Campbell family in their corner, the Finley Group wouldn’t have to stress about their future for a long time.
