Colt’s POV
“You can’t be serious! Grey lashed out.“Who gave you permission to decide for all three of us?”
“Seriously?“Sam growled in frustration.“Do you have any idea what it would do to her if any one of us rejected her?”
Grey flinched,and his anger drained from his face.
“Has anyone of you two ever thought about that? Sam asked. We have shared everything, even women,in the past.What makes Kate so
different?”
“Kate is not just any woman;she is my mate! Grey yelled.
“Our mate! Sam corrected. She is made for all three of us!”
“I will not let you soil her,Sam!“Grey continued.
That’s when it occurred to me that it wasn’t about who Kate chose as her mate,but about Grey,who saved himself for his mate.
I turned to Sam and nodded.
I wasn’t happy about the idea of sharing,but hurting our mate was the last thing I wanted to do.I would rather share than break
her.She had gone through enough agony for a lifetime.
“Sam,‘I mind linked and he turned his gaze toward me,knitting his eyebrows together,confused.
I knew he would be confused about me keeping Grey out of the conversation.
“Yeah? he replied.
“I think I know what is wrong with Grey,‘I said.
“What?” He asked, and his face turned impatient.
“He has never touched a woman before.“I mind linked.
It was like my words switched on a light bulb in Sam’s head.
“Oh,f*ck!“He gasped out loud.
“Seriously?Can’t you keep everything quiet?“I growled over the mind link.

‘What? Grey asked. What are you discussing?”
“Nothing! We both said.
Grey was about to say something when the infirmary door opened, revealing Kate, and our attention turned toward her.
She looked a bit worried, but there was still a small smile on her lips when she saw all three of us.
“Go to her, Sam urged Grey.
“What are you doing?“I mind linked Sam.

“Watch and learn, brother, “he replied.
Grey scrunched his eyebrows together,confused at Sam’s words, but decided it was best not to say anything and rushed to Kate’s side.
Grey squatted next to the wheelchair,and I turned my attention to Sam.
“What are you thinking?“Sam asked while we watched Grey with Kate.“He is so unsure about himself.”
“Maybe you should give him some pointers, “I suggested.
“He wouldn’t listen to me,“Sam said.“I am not the serious brother among us,remember!”
“And I don’t have the experience you do,“I said. “But we will have to do something;he is going to scare Kate off.”
“I know, Sam agreed. “How are you feeling about accepting Kate?”
I sighed.I knew what he was referring to.
‘I’m not very happy about this,“I said with a heavy heart.“But I am keeping my word;I am not rejecting her. She is mine!”
‘Ours, Sam said, grabbing my shoulder to look at him.
I had never seen Sam like this.There was seriousness and hope in his eyes.
‘Ours… “I repeated, testing the word on my lips, yet the word made me feel whole inside–it was the right thing to do.I do not doubt
that anymore.
Kate nodded,and Grey got to his feet, rushed to the back of the wheelchair, and pushed Kate forward.
‘That’s new,‘I said,turning to Sam.

Grey seemed overjoyed about the small achievement of pushing Kate’s wheelchair.
“Yeah, Sam said, ‘Kate is warming up to us.”
I nodded.I was surprised that she was.In the beginning, she was set on having us reject her.
What changed her mind?
It can’t be our triplet charm.We were too distracted to properly persuade her.
I cocked my head to the side,looking at her.She was slowly looking healthier.
Was it because of us?
Has her wolf returned for good?Or was she enjoying the attention?
“When is Brian’s execution? Sam mind linked,breaking my chain of thought.
“In a week.Why?“I answered,

Grey and I went to see Alpha Duncan about when he was planning to execute Brian.That’s when Sam decided to slip out of the room and search for Kate.I asked him where he had run off to,and he told me he was with Kate.
I guess that is when he took his time to get more insight into the situation.
When did Sam receive the ability to read people?
“When did you receive the ability to heal Kate?‘Ray interrupted.
‘I don’t know…”
“Bullsh*t, Ray said,rolling his eyes at me. You know very well that you helped heal her.”
It could have been any one of us,“I argued. It could have been all of us.”
Ray shook his head.
‘Everyone of you received a gift, he said. “Even your brothers.”
“So,Sam is the walking emotion detector, and I have magic healing hands, I said sarcastically. What special powers did Grey get?Super
angry?”
‘No,‘Ray said,shaking his head, annoyed.“I don’t think he has noticed it as yet.”

“I think we should take Kate on a little trip, Sam said, cutting Ray and my conversation short.
“Why?“I mind linked back.“I don’t think Kate would want to leave.”
‘Does she know of the decision? Sam replied over the mind link.
Alpha Duncan informed her of the execution but not the actual execution date, I said. “He doesn’t want to upset her.”

“Then it will be the perfect opportunity to go on a short road trip, Sam said,rubbing his hands together.“We can take a trip down to the beach; we haven’t been there for a while.”
“I don’t think she would fall for that, I replied.
‘Oh,I think she will, Sam said,excited, and a small smile formed on his lips.
