Chapter 53
I was driving slow, admiring the view. Once we got to the entrance, two–man came rushing down a set of stairs. Of course, they had
servants. I parked the car and turned it off.
“Alright let’s get this over with so I can go back to find myself a peaceful apartment.” I laughed.
Blake smirked at me but didn’t say anything. Was there something he wasn’t telling me?
One of the two guys came over to my side and opened the door for me.
“Welcome to Cooper Mansion ma’am,” he said.
Well, this was fancy.
“Thank you!” I replied and got out quickly.
“Cole, Arthur, how have you been?” Blake as he got out of the car. They exchanged pleasantries, then Blake turned to me.
“This is Rosy, she will be staying with us for the next few days. If at any point she needs a car, can you please bring her this one?”
Blake stretched.
“Sure thing sir. Hope you have a good stay here Rosy” one of the man said, I wasn’t sure which was which.
I just smiled. Okay, this was too fancy.
I walked over to Blake and he placed his hand on the small of my back. “Come on, hopefully, we’re just in time for lunch”
“It’s Wednesday, will your family be home at this time?” I looked at my watch.
Blake laughed “Rosy, there’s bound to be someone home.”
We walked up the stairs and there was an older looking guy in a black suit standing at the door. Okay now, this was familiar.
“Lawrence, how are you?” Blake asked as we approached the old man.
“Mr B, I’m well thank you. How have you been? and who is this beautiful companion of yours?” He had a thick British accent that sounded very posh.
“This Lawrence, could be the future Mrs B. Thoughts?” My jaws dropped open at Blake’s words. He looked down at me and smiled. I
could see a twinkle in his eyes. A mischievous twinkle.
“She is stunning. I admire your choice, sir. Will you be sharing a room then?” He smiled at me.

Chapter 53
“No, Lawrence. Can you please arrange for Rosy to have the guest room next to my bedroom”
”
Certainly, Welcome to Cooper Mansion Rosy.” He bowed his head and motioned for us to go in.
Okay, this was way too extravagant. Blake gently pressed his hand in my lower back urging me to move. He smiled at me and started to
walk into the house.
I couldn’t believe how gorgeous the house was on the inside. The high ceiling had a massive crystal chandelier dangling in the middle.
There was a long staircase that arched around both sides of a walkway, Blake leads me towards that walkway and we entered into what looked like a living area.
It was twice the size of the Callum’s living area. The back wall was all glass and you could see a huge swimming pool that backed into
what I would call a football field. Fuxk this was just wow.
“Blake, how rich are you people exactly?” I asked quietly.
He laughed “Umm well, we own most of this town and a few others. Plus the business and a few other things, so think of me as Mr
Grey x6 just without the Red Room” he winked at me and I could feel my cheeks go red.

“Blake Anthony Cooper! How many times have I asked you to inform me before you show up so I can clear my schedule” the voice was
more angelic than angry.
We turned and walked in a tall blonde lady. She looked like she was in her 40’s. She was very well dressed in a black pencil skirt and a
blue blouse. She had heels on that made her look taller than she was. I could see the resemblance between Blake and her. As she walked
in, her heels clicked on the tiled floor.
“Mother, it’s not really a surprise if I tell you,” Blake said and walked halfway to greet the lady.
She smiled at him and pulled him into a cute hug. Blake hugged her back and they started like that for a bit.
“Oh, my boy is home.” She cooed and rubbed his back.
“Hey, Mumma” I heard Blake say softly. “We have a guest,” he said as he pulled away and looked back at me.
Butterflies fluttered in my belly and I gave the best smile I could.
“Oh, I’m sorry Hunny. I’m being so rude! I didn’t see you there. I’m Susan Cooper but please call me Sue.” She walked over to me and
put out her hand,
I took her extended hand and shook it “I’m Rosalie Peters but just call me Rosy.” I said. I watched her smile fade and her eyes widen.
What did I say?
“You’re Rosy?” She asked. Her voice came out as more of a whisper. I nodded my head and tried to swallow the lump in my throat. She
already knew me. Here we go. Let the rejections begin.
