Chapter 121
“The moment you chose to stay with me that day, you became mine forever. Until death. Even if one day you feel like you don’t love me anymore… I will never let you go. And I’ll do whatever it takes to win you back–again and again, if I have to. Never, under any circumstance, will my love for you fade.”
Then he kissed me.
Not just any kiss.
But the kind that consumes your soul and heals every wound.
A powerful touch, filled with love, desire, and devotion.
Our lips searched for each other with a quiet desperation, like that kiss was the only truth that mattered in the universe.
“I love you, Dante Castelli,” I declared breathlessly as we pulled apart. “I love you more than anything in this world… in this entire universe. I’d love you in every life, in every galaxy. And if everything ended one day, my love would still exist, floating among the stars.”
He smiled and wrapped me in his arms again.
“And I love you, Elijah Castelli. More than the sunlight, more than any constellation. You’re my guiding star, my
personal universe. And I’ll protect this love with every part of my being.”
A huge smile broke across my face, impossible to contain. Without thinking, I jumped into his arms, laughing as I
kissed him.
My arms wrapped around his neck while his strong hands held me by the waist, spinning us gently like the
moment belonged only to us.
The sea breeze danced around us, but all I could feel was the heat of his lips and the sound of his laughter tangled
with mine.
Happiness filled me in a way I never thought possible.
It was real.
We were there–together, free for a moment.
He walked us over to the shade of a low tree and sat on the soft sand, pulling me gently into his lap. I rested my back against his chest, feeling his warm embrace wrap around me, his chin gently resting on my hair.
“Tell me something, bunny… What do you think is the most amazing thing in the world?”
I smiled, settling into him more comfortably.
“The universe, I answered without hesitation.
Chapter 121
“The universe?”
“Yeah.” I nodded excitedly, my eyes lifting to the open sky.
Even with the sun shining brightly, it was breathtaking.
“I’ve always been fascinated by the universe… Stars dancing in silence, galaxies lost in the vastness, black holes devouring even the light. I used to hide that love, like it was some silly secret, a childish obsession with astronomy.”
I let out a long sigh, and a wide smile spread across my face.
“But Saturn… oh, Saturn is my favorite. Those rings, so delicate, so perfect… they float like a poem around a sleeping god. I’d give anything to see it up close, through a real telescope. To watch it spin, to see its moons orbiting like loyal lovers… it’s all so beautiful, so hypnotic.”
As I spoke, I felt his fingers slowly intertwine with mine.
He didn’t say anything..
The silence that followed was heavy with meaning, like he was absorbing every piece of my excitement and storing it deep inside himself.
I turned slightly, seeking his eyes, and saw a glow of adoration that warmed my chest even more.
He kissed me slowly, gently.
“You’re incredible, you know that? You look so beautiful when you talk about the things you love… Just hearing you like this puts my heart at peace. Your voice calms me. Your passion lights up everything.”
I smiled and leaned back against him, fingers still tangled with his.
“And to think I once believed I’d never love someone this intensely… And now, the universe I always loved doesn’t compare to how much I love you.”
“I feel the same, bunny. And believe me, I know a little about the universe… But you shine brighter than any star I’ve ever seen. It’s like the entire cosmos bowed down just to create you. Elijah… what I feel for you goes beyond even infinity.”
I let out a soft laugh, sinking deeper into his protective, warm embrace.
My eyes drifted up to the bright sky as my chest vibrated with a peace I had never known before.
We stayed there, wrapped up in each other, in silence, simply enjoying the sound of the waves and the warmth of our bodies.
And I knew–no matter how many walls surrounded us, in his arms… I was finally free.
It was like the universe had stopped, just for the two of us, in that one perfect moment.
