Chapter 121
I closed my eyes, disgusted by his words. Tears poured down my
face.
Blake, where are you?! Please save me! I thought to myself.
“No use crying. Your fiancé still doesn’t know you’re missing. I
called Taylor before I came, and Blake had just arrived home,
completely unfazed.” Vince stretched his arms.
“I don’t believe you. I’ve been gone long enough for Blake to
realize something is wrong. He will come looking for me” I spat at
him.
“And we will gladly send him back. Whether he leaves dead or alive
will be his choice” Novo stood behind Vince.
“You wanna have her tonight? It’s $10,000 per hour.” He looked
down at Vince, twisting his ring.
Vince had his eyes glued to my face. His lips curved into an evil
grin, and he nodded. He put a briefcase on the table and opened it. I
hadn’t noticed he walked in with a bag.

From inside the briefcase, he pulled out ten stacks and placed
them on the table.
“$100,000, 10 hours. You can have her back in the morning” he
closed the briefcase.
Novo smiled and picked up one of the stacks, fanning it.
“See mi Amor, your mother took $50,000, and I’ve already made
$100,000. This is how you do business.” He laughed.
“She’s all yours, camarada. Enjoy!” Novo laughed and flicked his
fingers. Carlos quickly picked up the money from the table and gave
me a smirk.
They all started walking towards the door.
Jimmy opened the door, but before they could leave, I heard
gunshots. All the bouncers scrambled to pull their weapons out. I
ducked my head as far as I could. Vince quickly got up and pulled me
off the chair, laying me on the floor.
More gunshots echoed through the room before everything went
quiet. No music, no chatting, no more gunshots.
I looked up, trying to see what happened.

Novo and all his men were lying on the ground crinkled up.
“Come on, get up,” Vince said, pulling me to my feet.
He pulled out a gun from his jacket and pointed it at my head.
“I have a gun to the girl’s head. Let us go, or I swear I’ll paint the
walls with her brains,” he yelled, pressing the gun to my temple.
I closed my eyes and tried to calm my breathing. I could feel a
panic attack bubbling in me.
“I don’t think that’s a very good trade. See, I want the girl, and I’ve
been told she needs to be alive.” A voice came from outside the door.
A figure appeared at the doorway. He had a large gun in his hand.
The figure slowly stepped over the dead bodies and emerged further
into the room. He stopped at one particular spot and bent down to
move something. Vince took steps back, pulling me with him.
“Who the Fuxk are you?!” Vince yelled.
- us.
The figure leaned his gun on his shoulder and kept walking towards

to be reunited with your friends in hell.” The guy stopped a few feet
away, his face still not very clear. He was standing right on the edge
of where the ceiling lights glow on the floor ended. He was trying to
keep his identity hidden, but his voice sounded familiar. Very
familiar.
“That’s not happening, asshole. She’s mine.” Vince yelled at him.
He pressed the gun harder to my head. It was starting to hurt, and I
whined.
“Vince, don’t do this. Let me go, or you’ll get us both killed,” I said
softly, trying to stay calm.
“Yeah, I’d listen to the girl if I were you,” the guy said.
“Shut up! Who the Fuxk are you anyway! Why do you want the
girl?” Vince stepped further back.
“You are a pain in the ass, you know. I’m supposed to leave you
alive too. Otherwise, I would have the girl in my arms already,” he
sighed.
He took a step forward, stepping into the light, revealing himself.
“Blake?” Vince’s voice laced with shock.

My heart skipped a beat. He came! I knew he would. I started
struggling against Vince’s hold, wanting to go to Blake.
“Blakey…” I called out happily, but he didn’t respond. He just kept
staring at Vince with a cold glare. He had no emotions on his face,
and it was scary. I examined the guy standing in front of us. His face,
his posture, his actions, that wasn’t my Blake. Blake would never be
so cold towards me.
“Max…” I whispered, and his eyes flickered towards me, giving me
a wink….
