Alpha’s White Lie
Chapter 126
Once we were in the living area, Sue sat me on the couch and
disappeared into the kitchen. Two servants came out with trays in
their hands. One had drinks and snacks, and the other had water.
They placed it on the table in front of me and walked back into the
kitchen.
I leaned back on the couch and took a deep breath in,
I wanted Blake. I wanted his cuddles and his touch. I didn’t want to

sit here alone in my haunted by my thoughts.
Sue still hadn’t returned, so I got up and walked towards the stairs. I
wanted to go lay down. My head was still heavy, and the
testosterone–fuelled argument outside had me feeling guilty. Now I
was creating more problems between the brothers.
On my way to the stairs, I saw an open door. What caught my eyes
was the movement inside. I inched towards the door. The door wasn’t
open too far but just enough for me to see the people inside.
Pops was sitting behind a big mahogany desk with Nate standing
beside him. They both looked mad. Max was sitting on the chair in
front of the table while Blake was standing facing the pool directly
outside the rancher slider.

I moved closer to hear what they were saying.
“Why did no one tell me he had marked her?! I had the right to
know” Max’s voice was soft and low.
“Why? So you can come to stake your claim on her? No way! She’s
mine! You have no right over her” Blake turned and slammed his fist
on the table.
“Blake, calm down. You can not assume anything. Max just wanted
to know so he could at least know what he should do next. You knew
that there were chances of this happening.” Nate walked over and put
his hand on Blake’s shoulder.
“She already feels it. She said it herself. The connection is there,
Blake.” Max’s looked down at his fingers.
“NO! You stay away from her. You hear me. For once, please don’t
ruin this. She’s mine, Max. MINE! You’ve forcefully shared every girl
I’ve been with. Please let me have this one. PLEASE!” Blake’s voice
went from angry to begging.
“Blake, I’m not the one making the rules here. This was destined,
just like we shared a wolf and a birthright. There was a 50% chance
we would share a mate. I can’t sense her because I don’t have a wolf.
The only way to know if she was my soul mate as well was after you

marked her. If she was meant to be mine, I would also have a pull
with her. Lucky for me, she’s a half breed which means she has a wolf
that can sense me.”
Max got up and stood in front of his brother. “Blake, she senses me.
She said it herself. She feels comfortable with me. She isn’t repulsed.”
“So you want to go out there and tell her that she has two mates and
we have to share her. Do you know what’s going to happen? She’s
going to slap us both and run away. It will destroy her. We can’t do
this to her, Max. She won’t be able to…..‘
“”
I stumbled and bumped into the table next to the door. The big vase
of flowers toppled over and smashed. The noise caught the attention.
of all 4 of them, and Nate quickly walked over and opened the door.
I stood there looking down at the smashed vase and scattered glass
and flowers on the floor.
“Rosy?” Nate said. All 4 of them came out of the office.
“Angel, what are you doing here?” Blake pushed past them and
walked over to me. He put his hand out to grab my shoulder, but I
took a step back, making space between us.
“How long have you known?! How long have you known that you’d

have to share me with Max?” I looked up at Blake, keeping my voice
steady.
“Angel..”
I put my hand up and stopped him.
“Don’t beat around the bush. Give me an answer.”
