I take it and look over at Ivar. I give him a nod. He walks over to the faucet to open it.
“It’s going to take a very long time for this to fill. If you can find a way to get the water in here,” Luna Romano scoffs.

“You want to know why we didn’t think you were good enough for our son?” she smiles.
“No, I can give two fucks about that,” I wave her off. “Your son was an idiot. We all know that now. I want to know where your daughter is.” She visibly tenses up. “You know, the girl you had with the rogue that killed everyone at the rally.”

“Oh,” I laugh. “You didn’t tell him?”
“What the fuck is she talking about?” he demands and shoves her.
“That’s what he was looking for. What did you do with the girl? Did you sell her? You’re about to die. You’re going to be the first one to die. I want to know where she is.”
“For what?” she caves. The look on Alpha Romano’s face is priceless.

“The shit is that I would have given you more.” I let my affinity get the best of me, and I reach for the water that’s beent spilling out. “I would have given you whatever you asked for.” She steps away from the glass when I raise the water up to find an entryway. “But all you saw was an omega.”
“They turned you,” Alpha Romano says.
“No, they didn’t. My grandmother is royal by blood. I may not be the same rank as her, but I inherited a few things from her Things I could have given your son, but you wanted your power above all else. What is the girl’s name?”

“How do you know all of this?” Alpha Romano asks.
“My parents helped her cover it up. All of it. You wouldn’t be the alpha if it weren’t for her. You’re just like your son. You aren’t worth shit but the shame you’ve brought on your mates. To make matters worse, she wasn’t even yours to begin with,” I find an opening and begin to force the water inside.
“You aren’t this person, Sophia. You’re like your mother,” Luna Romano stands placing her hands on the glass to face me. “You’re kind and understanding. I didn’t know you were a Lycan. An Alpha mated to an omega is not ideal. You’d always be in danger. Poppy was to ensure you were safe.”
