Chapter 90 Provoking the Plaintiff While Begging Me to Drop the Lawsuit

Tracy hurried to a restaurant that specialized in private cuisine, where the menu was reservation-only.

She pushed open the private room door and saw Natalie standing to one side, looking furious, while Yvonne was protecting a sobbing woman who was clutching her face, and Renee was there too, glaring at Natalie.

Seeing Tracy enter, Renee let out a cold snort and sneered, “I wondered why this woman was so arrogant! Turns out she’s cut from the same cloth! Tracy, I haven’t even settled the score with you for daring to sue me just to get our attention. How dare you show your face here? Aren’t you afraid that if you offend us, my brother will never acknowledge you again?”

The thought of receiving that court summons made her want to tear Tracy apart.

If the students at school found out that she had resorted to personally stealing things to frame someone else and was now facing a few days in detention because of it, she would be absolutely humiliated and laughed at by everyone.

Her brother had been worn out dealing with the issue for days, especially since the opposing side was the Johnson family, whom the Gaunt family couldn’t afford to offend.

Thinking that Tracy had managed to cling to the Johnson family, Renee’s eyes were filled with contempt. It’s just everything gained by relying on a man; what’s so great about that?

Tracy cut off the words Natalie was about to blurt out. She curled her lip into a cold smile. “What? You committed a crime and you’re blaming me for it? Did I force you to steal the report and tamper with it? When your brother first sued me, you should have anticipated this day. After all, the thief who cries ‘Thief!’ won’t get away with it, right?”

The Gaunt family was just like this; when something went wrong, they only looked for blame in others, never reflecting on their own problems.

They didn’t stop to consider that if Renee hadn’t done such a thing, Chandler would never have sued Tracy unknowingly.

But Renee knew perfectly well what she was doing. Because she considered Tracy a lonely, helpless orphan, she dared to confront her so brazenly.

Ultimately, it was Chandler who gave Renee that confidence. At the time, Renee must have been sure that Tracy was finished.

But she never expected Tracy to obtain the surveillance footage that proved Renee was the perpetrator, leaving them completely speechless

Renee’s cheeks puffed up with rage, and she said bitterly, “Tracy, don’t get too smug. Don’t think you can do whatever you want just because Sean is backing you up. I read the trending topics; the Johnson family heir is about to get engaged to the Miss of the White family. If Ms. White finds out you’re seducing her fiancé, what do you think will happen?”

She genuinely couldn’t believe that Sean was getting engaged and Tracy still dared to be so arrogant.

Have mistresses become so brazen these days?

The thought that Tracy was cheating during her marriage infuriated her. What a shameless

woman.

Tracy smiled lightly. “Do you think everyone is like Chandler, eating from the bowl while eyeing the pot?”

“However, what kind of relationship I have with the Johnson family heir is none of your business. After all, we have no relationship at all now, do we?”

When it came to arguing, she had never lost. She had only been polite to them in the past to appease Chandler.

But what did they do?

They thought she was easy to bully, found every way possible to exploit her, and became increasingly demanding, eventually reaching an outrageous degree.

Now, she refused to tolerate it, yet they saw it as her trying to get their attention.

It was genuinely laughable.

“You!” Renee was seething but couldn’t think of a comeback.

Yvonne glanced at Tracy and sneered softly, “You’re only good at running your mouth, aren’t you?”

She felt she knew Tracy, her older sister, quite well: bad-tempered, easily provoked, but without much real capability.

She heard Tracy only had a college degree; because their mother died early, she hadn’t even finished graduate school.

Aside from her sharp tongue, she was useless otherwise. Her getting into Vector Tech was pure luck.

Yvonne held the deepest contempt for people who had to rely on men to gain a foothold.

Tracy raised an eyebrow slightly. “Ms. Xander, who are you to me? Do you think you understand me very well?”

What a joke. A mistress casually judging the legitimate wife. She must not be afraid of being laughed at. Although she no longer cared, that didn’t mean she would let Yvonne judge her so casually.

Yvonne frowned but quickly regained her composure. Tracy is just a clown. I don’t need to pay attention to her.

At that moment, Natalie sneered. “Mistresses stick together; no wonder your methods for stealing men are top-notch. So, you’re a collective operation? What is it? You mistresses aren’t ashamed, but actually proud of it? No wonder you’re all the same trash. You know each other! Should I give you a name? How about ‘The Man Stealing Squad?”

She had just discovered today that Susan and Yvonne knew each other, and she had personally heard Yvonne advising Susan.

They were truly shameless.

Furious, she rushed over and slapped Susan. And honestly, it felt

pretty good.

Susan sobbed in retaliation, “The one who isn’t loved is the real mistress! Leon stopped loving you a long time ago; you’re the one who keeps clinging to him! Natalie, I can’t believe you’re so ill-mannered, daring to hit someone in public! I’ll go back and tell Leon to break up with a shrew like you!”

She had been having lunch with Yvonne, chatting, when that lunatic Natalie suddenly burst

Without a word, Natalie had just slapped her. She was stunned.

She had never been hit in her life, and today she was hit by someone she looked down on. The more she thought about it, the angrier she became.

Natalie scoffed, “Go ahead and call him! Why not call that scumbag right now? Do you want me to dial for you? You’re so proud of picking up my unwanted garbage and running a trash recycling center. Well, I hope you two are stuck together forever, and may you be childless!”

Those scumbags and sluts can die!

She won’t care anymore.

“You!” Susan’s chest heaved violently with fury.

But clearly, she was no match for Natalie in a verbal fight and could only glare.

Renee raised her hand, intending to hit Natalie’s face. “Just like Tracy! When you can’t keep a man’s heart, you blame everyone else. Haven’t you ever considered your own flaws? Why is it that some people can succeed later, do better than you, and easily win a man’s heart? You really are two of a kind, both unreasonable shrews. When you can’t win a fight, you resort to threats. That’s a sign of weakness.”

She had known Tracy for years and thought she understood her, but now she was completely different.

They both looked exactly like shrews now.

But the slap never reached Natalie’s face. Tracy caught Renee’s hand, gripping her wrist until it cracked audibly.
