Jared’s eyes turned cold. Adopting the posture of the eldest brother, he shoved Tracy back against the wall. “Tracy, you are truly beyond reason! You did something shameful, and when we call you out on it, you hit your brother Chase!”
“You are completely lawless! As your eldest brother, I have to teach you a lesson today. Otherwise, if you cause a bigger scandal outside, it will be the Xander family’s name that is ruined.”
He had tolerated Tracy for too long. After running wild outside, she always returned completely cold and heartless toward everyone, forgetting her place. Seeing her indifferent expression made him furious. The patience he usually prided himself on completely broke down at this moment. He had only stepped out for a meeting and returned to find the girl being harassed, and by her own elder brother, no less. It was an understatement to say he was angry.
Before Jared could react, Sam threw him aside. Jared staggered back several steps, only stopping himself from falling when he hit the corner of the wall. He grimaced in pain and was beside himself with fury, but he was stunned to see Sam walking in from outside.

Chase stepped in front of Jared, glaring hatefully at Sam, and sneered, “We don’t have a sister like her. Our sister is Yvonne. A woman with such corrupted morals as Tracy has no right to be our sister.”
Tracy didn’t want to acknowledge them? Fine, he’d grant her wish. They didn’t want her either. They must have been cursed to be born siblings with a person like Tracy.
“Oh?” Sam raised an eyebrow. “If that’s the case, what right do you have to hit her? And speaking of corrupted morals, who could be worse than your precious sister? Yvonne shamelessly climbed into her sister’s husband’s bed and then deliberately caused trouble between the siblings. Is that your idea of a good sister? Tracy quickly cut Sam off. “Stop. There’s no reasoning with them. Let’s go.”
She didn’t want them to know the full truth yet. It wasn’t because she was afraid of Yvonne, but because she didn’t want Yvonne to collapse too soon. The game had just started.
