While Leo was getting all worked up, Daron stayed totally unfazed.
Daron’s eyes locked onto Leo, his face expressionless, not giving away a single emotion.
Daron said, “The only reason I haven’t taken you to court is because I’m cutting you some slack.”
Leo’s brows knitted together.
“Daron, after all these years as father and son, is this really how it ends between us?” Leo asked.
Daron nodded. “Yeah.”
“I already gave you a chance. If you just stayed put in Frency and didn’t try to make a comeback in Vrufield, I could’ve just turned a blind eye,” Daron said.
“But no, you just had to go out of your way to clear the path for Victor. You wanted him back. How could I possibly let that happen?” Daron added.
Leo’s expression turned rigid.
Daron walked over to his office chair and sat down, his face unreadable as he stared at Leo.
“When you left the Zamora family, I told you to keep your head down and live your own life. But clearly, you didn’t take my words to heart,” Daron said.
Leo looked grim as he said in a low, tense voice. “Your grandpa would never stand for you treating me this way. Daron, no matter what you do to me, I’ll always be a Zamora.”
“You’ll never get past your Grandpa Harris,” he added.
A mocking smirk played at the corner of Daron’s lips.
“You won’t be able to reach Grandpa now,” Daron said, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
Leo looked genuinely puzzled for a moment at Daron’s words.
He dug his nails into his palm, yanked out his phone, and tried calling Harris, but no matter how many times he dialed, no one picked up.
Still not ready to give up, he called the butler next.
The butler answered, but wouldn’t let Harris take the call. He gave some lame excuse and hung up right after.
Leo was taken aback for a moment, then looked up at Daron.
“Did you bribe everyone around your Grandpa to be on your side?” Leo asked.
Daron shook his head.
“I wouldn’t call it bribing,” Daron replied.
Leo gritted his teeth.

“I’ll head back to Vrufield myself and set things straight with Harris,” Leo said.
Daron didn’t say a word.

Leo shot Daron a cold look and said, his voice frosty. “Daron, since you’re so ruthless, don’t blame me when I join forces with the second branch of the Zamora family.”
Daron lifted his gaze to Leo.
“Haven’t you and the second branch family teamed up already?” Daron said, his tone nonchalant.
His casual remark left Leo speechless.
Leo gritted his teeth, a wave of humiliation washing over him. He drew in a sharp breath and quickly walked out of Daron’s office.
Leo’s assistant had been waiting outside the door. As soon as he saw Leo come out, he hurried over.
“Mr. Zamora…” the assistant started.
But before he could finish, Leo cut him off, his voice low and firm.
“I’m heading back to Vrufield right away,” Leo said.
The assistant nodded.
“Got it, I’ll arrange it right away,” he said.
As he spoke, he pulled out his phone to book the tickets.
But as soon as the assistant tried to make the call, he was told that Leo was now on a travel ban and couldn’t leave the country.
The assistant frowned deeply.
Leo had just settled into his chair when he saw his assistant clutching his phone, face serious, like he was checking some important info.
“What’s wrong?” Leo asked.
A wave of unease washed over Leo.
A wave of urgency crossed the assistant’s face as he spoke, “Mr. Zamora, you’ve been placed on a travel ban. You can’t leave Frency,” he said.
Leo’s face instantly froze.
The assistant shoved his phone in Leo’s face, showing him the official notification.
Leo took a deep breath, his expression rigid as he stared at the screen.
A few years back, Leo had set up a company under his own name.
It was a one–man operation, completely owned by him.
His plan was to slowly swallow up the branch offices and build his own company into something big.

But he never expected that this would make it easier for Daron to come after him.

Now, Frency was watching his every move, claiming he’d leaked sensitive info, and even hit him with a travel ban.
As the guy running the show at his own company, he hadn’t gotten a single heads–up about any of this.
Leo clenched his phone, his face twisted in frustration.
The next second, someone pushed open the door to his office.
Leo looked up and saw it was Ken.
He knew Ken worked for Daron, and his face darkened on the spot.
‘Get out,” Leo snapped.
Ken, a true Frency local, frowned at Leo’s harsh words.
‘Mr. Zamora, you’re the one who should be leaving,” Ken said.
‘From now on, this office is mine,” Ken added.
Leo’s grip on his phone tightened until his knuckles turned white.
Ken didn’t bother looking at Leo. He just waved his crew over, telling them to leave anything useful behind and clear out all of Leo’s stuff from the office.
Leo’s assistant tried to stop them, but he was no match for Ken’s people.
The assistant tried to call Leo’s bodyguards, but before he could even dial, Ken snatched the phone away and motioned for him to look at the door.
Leo’s bodyguards were already standing guard at the entrance, perfectly disciplined and ready.
The assistant saw the scene, and it all clicked instantly.
Before long, Ken’s guys had packed up all of Leo’s belongings and hauled them out.
n the end, Leo and his assistant were dragged out and thrown from the office.
ust as Leo was thrown out, Daron’s car cruised out of the underground garage.
Leo caught sight of Daron and tried to chase after him, but Daron just rolled up the window, didn’t even bother to look his
vay.
3linded by fury, Leo ran after the car for a few steps before his anger got the best of him and he collapsed right there on the
Davement.
Marina spotted Leo going down hard in the rearview mirror and frowned.
She glanced at Daron beside her, about to say something, but Daron wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her loser, his voice gentle.
‘Don’t bother with people who aren’t worth it,” Daron said softly.
Since Daron saw it too, Marina just gave a soft “mm” and let it go.

Chapter 426
They planned to hear back to Vruted today. All the endence of Victor’s crimes had already been turned in Evershing in Frency was pretty much wrapped up.
When Matthew got word that Daron was safe and wound, he announced there’d be a press conference tomorrow to officially announce Martin taking over the Zamorz Group
They were trying to pull the same stunt Iron used back then to kick Leo out of power
But they totally missed something important.
Back then, Daron was able to take Leo down becane, while he was in charge, he actually delivered. He had led the Zamora Group through a real reform and made things happen
But Martin had only just stepped in as acting CEO for a few days, and he hadn’t done anything impressive ye
Matthew was trying to make it a done deal, then use the family’s clout to strong–arm Daron into taking a spot and force him back into the grind for the Zamora Group.
After all, that’s exactly how they forced Leo out before, claiming it was all for the sake of the Zamora Group’s steady growth
If Daron tried to shake things up when he got back, they’d just slap him with the label of disrupting family unity and jeopardizing the company’s interests,
