Dear readers,
I want to talk honestly with all of you about Fox’s book. Many of you have been asking for it, and I truly understand your excitement and love for these
characters.
I tried to write Fox’s story. I really did. I tried many times, but nothing came. The story simply wouldn’t develop, and I didn’t want to force something that didn’t feel right. I was afraid that if I pushed myself to write it anyway, I could end up losing the essence of Tony and Fox, and they deserve better than
that.
So after thinking about it for a long time, I decided that I will not continue with Fox’s book. I am very sorry for this, especially because I know I once said I would write it. I feel bad for not being able to fulfill that promise.
The truth is that Tony and Fox’s book was never planned from the beginning. I tried to write it because many of you wanted it, but in the process I became very overwhelmed and, in the end, I couldn’t develop the story the way it deserved.
I also want to apologize if you notice any grammar or spelling mistakes in my books. English is not my native language. I am from Brazil, and my first language is Portuguese. I write the stories in my native language and then translate them into English. I am always trying to learn and improve, but translations are not always perfect, especially for native English readers.
Even so, I am deeply grateful for all the love you have shown for my stories and my characters, Dante, Elijah, Adrian, Magnus, and also Tony and Fox.
Thank you for reading my books and for all the kindness and support you have given me.
And once again, I’m truly sorry that I couldn’t write their spin–off.
