Yvonne also noticed the commotion. She watched Tracy transform from a silent background figure to someone confidently engaging in conversation with the industry leaders. She was filled with disdain. She’s nothing more than someone relying on Sam’s backing to mingle with the upper crust. She’s still depending on a man to gain a footing in this circle. It’s embarrassing.
Yvonne still didn’t take Tracy seriously.
Jared pointed across the room at Felix and said to Yvonne, “Yvonne, that is Felix, the CEO of Kramer Corp. His father holds a high government position.”
Felix’s rapid rise to become a leader among entrepreneurs was due half to his own dedication and half to his father’s powerful connections. This relationship allowed him to receive a lot of first–hand information and seize opportunities, quickly making him a favorite in the industry.
Yvonne was surprised that Felix’s background was so impressive. More importantly, he was chatting quite happily with Tracy. Could Tracy possibly understand AI?
Yvonne quickly dismissed the idea. If Tracy truly understood AI, there was no way she would have hidden her ability. Chandler was the love of her life. If she were as capable as she appeared, she would have long ago used her skills to help Chandler’s company. She absolutely would not have kept it a secret until now.
At this thought, Yvonne looked at. Tracy with even more disdain. She’s nothing but a fraud, trying to pass herself off as something she’s not. She’s just setting herself up for public humiliation.
Lincoln, standing nearby, also noticed Tracy. He asked Perry in surprise, “Hey, when did Tracy get so smart? She actually knows an important person like Felix and can talk to him so easily.”
“Look how happily they’re talking. Tracy doesn’t look intimidated at all. Could she really understand AI?”
Perry looked over, dismissively. “If she understood AI, would she have hidden it for so long? Don’t forget, Chandler also owns a technology company.”
“If Tracy really understood Al, given how much she loved Chandler, she would have done everything to show off in front of him. Why would she only reveal it now?”
“Wake up. Tracy only knows Felix through Sam. And Felix is only talking to Tracy as a courtesy to Sam.”
Lincoln nodded, agreeing that Perry made sense. Seeing Tracy conversing so fluently with those industry giants, he had genuinely wondered for a moment if there was more to Tracy than they knew. But after Perry’s analysis, Lincoln concluded that Tracy was simply relying on Sam’s influence and had no real skill
herself.
Thinking this, Lincoln sneered, “Who is Tracy putting on this act for? Does she actually think that after all this drama, Chandler will forgive her? She is far too naive. I’ve never seen anyone so shameless. It just makes me angry to look at her. Even if Chandler agreed to reconcile with her. I wouldn’t support it. Tracy is playing with fire, and no one can save her.”

Perry nodded, concurring with Lincoln. “Just let her be. Still, the way she’s carrying on does make one wonder if she’s actually talented. But a pretty face is a pretty face. She was with Chandler for so many years. Whether she has any real skill or not, Chandler would know. They were married for years, and she never created any value for his company, which proves she’s all surface.”
He was also surprised Tracy could maintain the facade so well, but a pretense was just a pretense. Without genuine ability, she would only end up publicly humiliated.
Compared to Tracy’s fakery, Yvonne was truly much better. Yvonne’s abilities were obvious to everyone. She was a Northville University graduate who had participated in major AI medical research before even graduating. To have achieved so much at such a young age, she was truly one of the industry’s finest.
Tracy was oblivious to their gossiping; she was having a lively conversation with Felix and the others.
