Chapter 142 The Bidding Announcement
Among the women he had met, there were experienced, strong female leaders and charming. feminine young women. It wasn’t the first time he had met someone with Tracy’s personality. However, it was the first time he had felt such an interest in a woman like her. If Tracy gave hirm an opening, he would most likely pursue her.
Just then, Tracy saw Sam signaling her. She said to Felix, “Excuse me, Mr. Zach is calling me. I need to go over there. Please excuse me.”
With that, Tracy quickly left and walked toward Sam.
Sam smiled at Tracy. “Tracy, Mr. Waylon’s speech is about to start. Let’s listen from here.”
Tracy nodded. “Okay.”
Gregory also smiled at Tracy. “Tracy, I think if you submitted your papers for this bid, the first prize would definitely be yours.”
Tracy smiled back at Gregory without speaking. Then, she saw Felix walking toward them. Felix greeted them all one by one, then stood to Tracy’s left, side–by–side with her. From a certain angle, they looked like a perfect couple–talented man and beautiful woman.
Yvonne, standing not far away, overheard Gregory’s compliment to Tracy. She frowned in displeasure. She knew Gregory was also Morten’s student and a national–level research scientist. But what was Tracy? How had she earned his praise? Even when Yvonne had been chatting with them, she hadn’t heard Gregory compliment her.
If she hadn’t received praise from Gregory, why should Tracy? Was it just because of her unusual relationship with Sam?
At this thought, the scorn in Yvonne’s eyes intensified. It’s just praise gained through a man. It means nothing.
Chandler also heard Gregory’s words. He instinctively glanced at Tracy. He saw Tracy say something with easy grace, but the sound system on the stage started up just then, so he didn’t catch her words. However, she looked pleased. Judging by her mouth, she had probably said something like “thank you.”
Yvonne noticed Chandler looking at Tracy. She tugged his arm. “Chandler, what are you looking at?”
She would not allow Chandler to look at other women for too long, especially Tracy. If they were to reconcile, wouldn’t everything she had done be for nothing?
No! She couldn’t let that happen, so she had to stop any possibility of their reunion. Although

Chapter 147 The Bidding Announcement
Tracy had left the Gaunt family, Chandler and Tracy had been married for years, even if their feelings had faded. Tracy was deeply cunning. It was possible she was using Chandler to get revenge on Yvonne.
“It’s nothing,” Chandler said, pulling his gaze away. He didn’t know why he had been staring at Tracy for so long. She really had changed a lot since she left. He went home less often, but every time he did, the house felt empty. He no longer saw her busy figure.
Jennie had told him Tracy had started moving her things out some time ago, but they hadn’t noticed. They only discovered Tracy’s things were gone several days after she had already left. Jennie went in to clean Tracy’s room and found it completely empty. Jennie was shocked. She immediately called Chandler. “Ms. Tracy’s things are all gone. Did she sneak out and move away?”
Chandler was in a meeting at the time. He assumed Tracy was just acting out again and casually replied, “Got it,” before hanging up. But later, he gradually realized Tracy wasn’t acting out; she had truly left. Days turned into weeks. Even when he personally went to ask Tracy to withdraw the lawsuit, she refused to give him any face and even conspired with his mother to trick him into signing the divorce papers. By the time he found out, they already had the divorce certificate. He suddenly felt Tracy was causing more trouble than ever. Wasn’t she afraid that if she got the divorce certificate, he would ignore her forever? Her tantrums needed a limit, so he decided not to indulge her and stopped managing her affairs.
Yvonne gestured for Chandler to lean down, then whispered a few words in his ear. Whatever she said, Chandler’s brow immediately smoothed out.
Soon, Waylon walked onto the stage. He first read the prepared address in an orderly manner. Then came the announcement phase. He cleared his throat and slowly began, “Today, I have good news to announce to everyone. After deliberations by our medical AI department, we have decided to collaborate with capable enterprises.”
“This bidding process will be different from previous ones. Participants will undergo three rounds of assessments. In the final round, we will select a few individuals with the most outstanding results.”
