I sighed. I had worn a big coat over the almost naked sexy dress, to avert attention, but Elijah didn’t make the attention lesser with his property ironed
tailcoat and tie.
He was serious about this, serious about us.
1 convinced him that he was going to see the dress on me when we got to our dinner location and he held on to that hope.
“Welcome to my house.” He said when we got to a very nice apartment. I knew Elijah had a good job, but these surpassed my imagination. He was doing well

A bluth reddened my cheek as I walked into his house, whispering a little thank you. I saw a table set with lots of gifts and food. Elijah came behind me and

“Yes, officially” he moved to the seat and pulled it out for me to sit. I gracefully took it and he sat opposite me. His gaze grazed my cleavage that popped
out of the dress he gifted me.
“I know this is a date to know more about you, but I need to say this first…”
My chest tightened as he slowly held my hands. “I love you, Christie. Always have”
A swell of emotion rose inside me. He finally said it, finally confirming the unsure feelings I thought he had for me. Elijah was into me just like I was into

The words were familiar and somehow the deep voice he had used to say it. His fingers trailed my neck and I felt my whole body respond to his touch. From
my neck, his fingers trailed to my cleavage too and a small moan escaped my lips. I slapped my palm to my mouth immediately, embarrassed that he had
heard me moan so quickly.
He pulled the seat backward dragging me with it as he raised me from where I sat. I stood, facing him but could barely look into his eyes for long. His seductive eyes were beautiful- although familiar.

Of course, I did. I wanted Elijah so bad. I had always crushed on him, hoping one day we would be this close. Now was the time.
“I want you, Elijah. I really… I didn’t finish my statement before he locked his lips with mine, grabbing my butt for support.
I wrapped my arms around his neck as he kissed me hungrily and I did the same. Even if this would be the last time I got to see Elijah before I went to the human world, I wanted this moment to be special.
