Before she could finish, Felix cut her off. “Does Mr. Gaunt not have a mouth? Does he need his girlfriend to be his mouthpiece? Also, was I talking to you? Why are you so eager to answer?”
“You love the spotlight so much. Have you and Mr. Gaunt even gotten married? Are you that eager to mother him and clean up all his messes?”
His words were so sharp, it caused a stir among the people present. Mr. Quinn wasn’t usually like this. What had gotten into him today?
Even Natalie couldn’t help but laugh out loud. She was delighted watching Yvonne’s expression change colors like a palette.
She scoffed. “That’s a good question. If Mr. Gaunt and Ms. Xander’s relationship is so good, why haven’t they gotten married? Is it because they can’t? Or is it that Mr. Gaunt was just playing around and never intended to marry her?”
She asked this deliberately to insult Yvonne. If they were going to play, they might as well play hard.
She had long been unable to stand that despicable pair. Yvonne had only secured her place with Chandler by stepping on Tracy.
How much affection could an opportunist like Chandler really have? He was just using her for the benefits she brought as part of the Xander family.
If Chandler knew Tracy’s true identity, he would surely be filled with regret.
But she didn’t plan on telling him. She’d let them continue their public displays of affection and see how long they could last.
As soon as this question was asked, Yvonne’s expression changed. Her eyes, looking at Natalie, were filled with resentment.
She had to admit, Natalie knew exactly how to hit her where it hurt. The reason they weren’t married truly was because of Chandler.
The people present heard Natalie’s words, and the way they looked at the couple changed, but no one dared to say anything bad to their faces.
After all, Chandler’s status was clear, and Yvonne’s status was also one they couldn’t afford to offend.
Chandler glanced up at Tracy, then said unhurriedly, “Yonne’s focus is on her work. She should be shining in the industry, not just staying at home doing domestic chores.”
Although he was speaking up for Yvonne, in Tracy’s ears it had another meaning.
It was an indirect way of saying that Yvonne wouldn’t be stuck at home with chores, but she, Tracy, would.
She had given up everything for Chandler, and in retur, she had received his coldest, most heartless side.
It was laughable, really.
Hearing Chandler come to her defense, she smiled sweely. “Chandler, thank you for your trust. I will definitely not let you down.”

As she spoke. Yvonne looked over at Tracy. Seeing her looking a bit down, Yvonne’s mood lifted.
Natalie pouted, about to argue with Chandler, but Tracy pulled her over to sit down.
She looked at Tracy complainingly. “Tracy, why did you pull me away? You should have let me rip the hypocritical masks off that vile pair. They’re just disgusting to look at. That scoundrel and that bitch, how dare they show off in front of you. I can’t stand it! I’m going crazy!”
She had seen shameless people, but never anyone as shameless as Yvonne. It was a new low.
Tracy gently soothed her. “Just be patient for now. A moment of impatience can ruin a great plan. Making that mother-daughter pair lose everything is our real goal. Just watch. Yvonne won’t be smug for long. They’ve been flaunting themselves in my face for so long. It’s time to settle the score.”
She planned to go back home tomorrow, get samples from Yvonne and Trevor, and run a DNA test.
And she had to do it flawlessly so no one would find out. Otherwise, someone might tamper with it.
Natalie sighed and said, “Tracy, you’re right. I’ll listen to you.”
Felix sat down on Tracy’s left, then smiled at her politel “Ms. Xander, I’ve invited myself to sit here. I hope you don’t mind?”
“Not at all.” Tracy shook her head.
The auction was about to begin, and people were gradually filling the seats.
When Sean and Julie entered, they saw Tracy and Felix chatting and laughing happily. They didn’t know what they were talking about, but Tracy looked very happy.
The scene was a bit jarring. Sean felt a tightness in his chest, an uncomfortable feeling.
Julie looked at Tracy in surprise, then looked up at Sean “Ms. Xander and Felix seem to be getting along very well. Should we go over?”
She asked this on purpose, wanting to see Sean’s reaction and his attitude toward Tracy.
Sean gave Julie a cool look, and Julie immediately shuter mouth.
When Tracy saw Sean, he and Julie had already taken seats in the row behind her.
Had their relationship progressed that much? They wer even attending an auction arm-in-arm.
She felt a tightness in her chest, a bit of discomfort, and even her breathing felt a little constricted.
Seeing Sean’s arrival, the people around them stirred, and many went to greet him.
