Stella paused, pressed her lips together, and shook her head.
Elnora said, “Then take some time to rest, Ms. Taylor. I hope you recover soon.”
Stella bit her lip. “Thank you.”
After pushing Stella out of Elnora’s office, Mya could finally breathe again.
‘Elnora’s aura is so powerful, it’s hard to breathe around her,’ she thought.
“Stella, things are probably going to get tough for you at the company from now on,” Mya said.
Stella lowered her eyes and said softly, “Not necessarily.”
Just now, when they were outside Elnora’s office, Albert selected a contract.
She couldn’t shake the feeling that the contract was meant for her.

Stella hummed softly. “That’s enough.”
“Who cares if anyone else saw it? As long as Elnora did, that’s all I wanted,” she added.
Stella left the group chat and DM’d Albert.

She kept checking her phone, but Albert never replied.
After a while, she typed out another message and sent it.
