Wendy nodded slowly. “Yeah, I know.”
Just then, her phone rang again. It was Trish.
Wendy answered, and Trish’s cheerful voice came through Wendy, come to the family estate. Everyone’s here for dinner tonight. You should join us!”
Wendy hesitated, but Trish added, “I’m bringing Dr. Ceylan home for dinner tonight, so you absolutely have to come!”
