“Also, this outfit cost over two thousand, and you ruined it with coffee. You have to pay me back. Plus, for my gas money coming here and back. I’ve calculated you owe me about two thousand five hundred.
Jordan wasn’t about to lose out today. If the date flopped, he could find another one, but he absolutely refused to lose money. He lived a life of extreme pinching and scraping, and he figured he might as well squeeze whatever he could out of a rich girl
Natalie gave a dry, frustrated laugh. He was the definition of a petty, calculating, and mediocre man.
She reached into her bag, pulled out a stack of cash, and threw it directly in his face. “There’s three thousand. Take it all. Keep the change and use it to get your head checked!”
Without waiting to see the look on his face, Natalie grabbed her bag and walked out, she couldn’t stand the sight of his disgusting face for another second.
Jordan, however, seeing how generous she was, only wanted to chase her more. A wealthy, gullible heiress like that was hard to find. He waved over a waiter to help him pick up the scattered bills, and the waiter respectfully handed the money back to him.
As he reached the door, his phone rang. It was his mother. “How did the date with that heiress go?”
“Mom, she’s into me. She already agreed to all my terms. Our family is about to hit the jackpot.”
After leaving the cafe, Natalie and Tracy headed straight to a nearby restaurant for lunch.
The moment they sat down, Natalie started venting. “That delusional prick. He has zero self-awareness, thinking he can just eye my family’s money. Looking at him made me so sick I can barely eat. Dealing with someone like that would take twenty years off my life. No, thirty! I’m going to have a serious talk with my parents when I get back. My aunt went too far, treating me like some recycling bin for garbage.”
The fact that Lana would even introduce someone like that to her was a blatant insult to the Sand family.
Tracy handed her the menu. “Don’t let him ruin your appetite. It’s lunchtime. Order whatever you want and let it out. Nothing is more important than a good meal. We can deal with the drama after we eat.”
Tracy hated men like that too. His gaze had been predatory and sleazy, like he’d never seen a woman before
“You’re right. Food first”
Natalie nodded and ordered several of her favorite dishes, along with a few she knew Tracy liked.
But the food had barely touched the table when a female voice came from the entrance. “Tracy No Long time no seet
Tracy looked back and saw her college rival, Doreen. Clinging to Doreen’s and was none alter than her Cousin, Jackson
Chapter 312 The Setup
Was the woman Jackson was seeing today actually Doreen Anderson?
The world was far too small.

Tracy instinctively glanced at Natalie and saw the flash of pain in her eyes. It was hard to watch. Still, she managed to stay polite Jackson, Doreen Are you two here for lunch too?”
She really hadn’t expected Doreen to be Jackson’s date. Having been in the same classes. Tracy knew exactly what Doreen was. She was nothing more than a pretentious slut who had spent their college years bulling them. She couldn’t wrap her head around how a guy like Jackson could be interested in someone like that. Did men really just fall for the act?
Jackson gave a small nod in response. He stiffened visibly when he saw Natalie, but he quickly looked away.
Unlike Jackson’s coldness. Doreen was overly enthusiastic. She walked over with a wide smile. “I thought I aaw you two at the cafe earlier but wasn’t sure. What a coincidence! You don’t mind if we join you, do you?”
Seeing the hurt on Natalie’s face, Tracy wanted to say no. She had zero interest in eating with someone like Doreen
Before she could speak. Jackson looked awkward and pointed to a nearby table. “There are other seats over there. Let’s sit there.”
Doreen ignored him and pulled Jackson down into the seat opposite Tracy. “Why are you being so shy? Natalie. Tracy, and I were classmates. It’s not like we’re strangers. Besides, if they aren’t complaining, what do we have to worry about, right?”
She directed the question at Jackson, but her eyes were locked on Natalie. She knew Natalie loved jackson. and she was doing this on purpose. Natalie had stolen the man she liked back in the day; now she was returning the favor. It felt like justice to her.
Since they were already seated, Tracy didn’t want to make a scene and look petty, so she stayed quiet. But it was clear this meal was going to be an ambush.
Doreen didn’t waste any time. She looked at Natalie and asked, “So, Natalie, I heard you and Leon broke up and it got pretty ugly. Is that true?”
