I was born with the gift of beast-speaking.
The Moonridge Hunt, assassins unleashing wild wolves, the future Alpha King’s life hanging by a thread.
In that critical moment, I used my Druid powers to command the savage beasts, successfully saving Adrian Blackwood and was immediately proclaimed his future Luna.
But on his coronation day as Alpha King, he shattered my limbs, cut out my tongue, and threw me into the beast pit.
“Seven years ago, Stella had already summoned all her father’s warriors to rescue me. I only needed to hold on for thirty more minutes to be safely rescued, but you had to steal her glory, take her Luna position, and caused her death from heartbreak!”
“You think you’re some beast whisperer? These animals have been starved for three days and nights. Let’s see if a crippled wretch like you can still make them obey!”
Later, I was torn apart by the savage beasts, dying with my eyes wide open in rage.

Reborn on the day Adrian faced danger, Luna Queen Blackwood gripped my hands tightly, her eyes full of desperate hope.
“I heard the Grey pack’s heir has the ancient beast-speaking gift. Can you use your power to save my son?”
I immediately knelt and declined.
“Your Majesty, I only know some tricks for amusing pets, nothing more. I wouldn’t dare risk the future Alpha King’s life with my amateur skills…”
“Your Majesty needn’t worry. Miss Stella from the Eastern pack has already brought the royal guards to the rescue. The future Alpha King has divine protection and will surely survive this crisis!”
Huh. This time, I wanted to see how Adrian Blackwood could claim his Alpha King throne without me!
“Ahhhh!!!”
The Luna Queen barely had time to look disappointed before Adrian’s agonized howls echoed from the distance.
Everyone’s hearts clenched, not daring to breathe.
After a chaos of panicked footsteps, the rescue guards carried Adrian back, kneeling before the Alpha King and Luna Queen to beg forgiveness.
“Useless fools! Is this how you protect the future Alpha King?”
The Alpha King stared at Adrian’s blood-soaked, deathly pale form, his fury erupting. He was about to punish them when he was stopped.
“Father, the wild tigers were vicious. If not for Stella bringing the guards to rescue me, I might not have made it back alive to see you!”
“These are just surface wounds. I’ll recover in a few days. Please don’t blame them, Father.”
After the pack healers confirmed no serious injuries, the Alpha King’s expression softened slightly. Only then did he notice Stella Rivers crying softly nearby.
“You showed true loyalty today, risking yourself to save the future Alpha King. Name your reward, and I’ll grant it.”
Stella’s eyes flashed with ambition, but she blushed and stammered, unable to speak.
“Father, Stella is shy. Let me speak for her…”
“I’ve long admired Stella, and now I owe her my life. I beg you to decree her as my Luna!”
The announcement sent shockwaves through the gathering.
Stella Rivers was merely the daughter of an Omega from the Eastern pack, though she and Adrian shared childhood bonds.
Her status was far too low. Keeping her as a mistress would be acceptable, but the Luna position was completely inappropriate.
The Alpha King frowned deeply, his gaze filled with disappointment as he looked at Adrian.
The Luna Queen spoke softly, “The Luna position affects the entire territory’s future. You can’t decide based on personal feelings alone, Adrian. As future Alpha King, you should understand this.”
Adrian lowered his eyes, silent for a moment. When he looked up again, he seemed to have made a firm decision.
