Beatrice rushed over to me like a madwoman and smashed the mirror to pieces.
“How could you show him that! I’ve been deliberately hiding it from him all these days so he wouldn’t see…”
“What’s the point of hiding it?” I cut her off, seeing that the three hours were up and starting to remove the needles.
“He was going to find out what he looks like eventually. It’s better he hears it now-I’m doing him a favor.”
When I finished, Gabriel looked like some kind of monster, but at least he was alive.
“Forget the fifty million. Just grant my wish and we’re even.”
“What wish?”
Charles glared at me darkly.
I let out a cold laugh. “I want the Blackwood family completely destroyed.”
“What a joke!”
Now that I’d treated Gabriel, Charles sneered coldly.

“We were too greedy. Autumn, please, we’re begging you to spare our family.”
Tignored them completely and walked away.
But afterward, they unexpectedly found fame because of Gabriel’s grotesque appearance.
To make ends meet, they took him to underground venues every day to perform like a circus freak.
Finally, one day, Gabriel couldn’t take living like a monster anymore. During one of the performances, he snapped and killed Charles and Beatrice with his bare hands.
He didn’t spare Lily either.
Just as Lucas and I were preparing to leave the country for our honeymoon, Gabriel came charging out like a madman, trying to take me with him.
But he got hit by a truck and died instantly.
People had never seen anything so grotesque before – they all crowded around taking photos.
When I saw it was him, I started to go take a look, but Lucas blocked my view.
“Autumn, it’s too bloody. Don’t look.”
“Okay.”
I smiled and took his hand as we boarded our flight together.
