Seeing how anxious Sarah was, Eliana spoke earnestly to comfort her. “As for that guy, he’s still out cold from his injuries.

Eliana didn’t need to ask. She already knew who was behind it all.
But since Eliana didn’t have any proof yet, she decided not to tell her parents, not wanting to worry them unnecessarily.
“Speaking of that, I was just about to ask you. How did he end up so badly hurt? Was it you who did it?” Sarah asked, looking at Eliana with cautious concern.
Eliana shook her head and whispered, “It was Nathan.”
Sarah’s eyes flashed with surprise for a second, then she nodded knowingly.
Hearing that Nathan had beaten the guy up for Eliana, Sarah felt genuinely touched, but beneath that, she was still afraid he might get dragged into trouble because of it.
But judging by how things were going, it didn’t seem like a big deal, so Sarah didn’t press further. She just held Eliana’s hand and talked with her for a while. Seeing her daughter’s body and spirit both recovering, Sarah finally let out a sigh of relief.
After Eliana went back to her room, Sarah turned to Wesley. “Eliana managed to get through such a tough time and bounce back so fast. Honestly, Nathan really made all the difference.”
“What do you think of him?” Sarah asked.
Wesley put down his finance magazine and looked at her seriously. “To be honest, I really like him. He’s humble, respects his elders, and knows how to act appropriately.
“The Turner Group isn’t just any company. It’s a massive multinational. He started that venture capital firm from the ground up and built it into a huge success. That takes guts and smarts. He’s truly one of a kind.”
“Someone like him is truly rare, but when it comes to marriage, what matters most is how they feel about each other. As long as my daughter’s happy, I’m happy,” Wesley said.
“I can see our daughter really is into him,” Wesley added.
Hearing that, Sarah couldn’t help but smile. She walked over and sat beside him. “You think so, right? I really believe our daughter has real feelings for Nathan.”
“That’s good. Let’s just let them date like that for now,” Wesley said.
Wesley nodded. “Alright, you really need to stop stressing yourself out. You’ve been crying yourself to sleep every night these past few days and haven’t gotten any real rest. Go get some sleep.”
Sarah nodded.
She’d been so worried about Eliana lately that just thinking about it brought tears to her eyes. She hadn’t had a good night’s sleep in ages.
Now that Wesley mentioned it, she realized just how tired she was. She quickly got up and headed back to her room to freshen up.

Soon, the Igons family home was quiet and peaceful
Eliana lay in bed, thinking about Nathan resting just a few doors away in the guest room. For some reason, her heart was over the place
She took a deep breath and quickly rolled over, trying to squash those fluttery feelings. But before she knew it, all she co see in her mind was Nathan
She even thought about that kiss in the room earlier.
Realizing where her thoughts were going, Eliana got annoyed with herself. She bit her lip and muttered, “Eliana, what an you doing? Get a grip
“Go to sleep already. We’ve got things to do tomorrow!” she scolded herself.
With that, she rolled over again, trying to make herself fall asleep.
But the more she tossed and turned, the more wide awake she became.
Just when she was feeling helpless, a knock sounded at the door, and Nathan’s deep voice came through. “Eliana, open up
Her heart thudded hard, and her hand instinctively gripped the blanket.
She didn’t want to answer at first, but worried he’d wake her parents if he kept it up, so she got up and went to the door, whispering, “Nathan, stop acting drunk. Just go back to sleep.”
