Chapter 191

By the time Logan left the bridal shop, he had no idea how he’d even managed to walk out.
As he stepped outside, the only thing he knew was that he’d lost Eliana completely.
The pain struck him right in the heart, a delayed realization that left him reeling.
Meanwhile, Eliana returned to the spot where she’d left Nathan. He was still waiting for her, just like he said he would.
When he saw her walk in, Nathan stood up and walked over to her, grabbing her hand and holding it tight, without asking anything
But Eliana could tell what he was thinking just by looking at him.
She didn’t bother explaining. Instead, she turned to Nathan and said seriously, “Mr. Turner, how about you splurge on me this time?”
Seeing Nathan looking at her so seriously. Eliana finally smiled, “Just like you said, let’s buy them all. We can wear the rest for our anniversaries.
“We’ll have our first anniversary, second anniversary, third anniversary… Each year, we’ll wear a different one, okay?”
Even though Eliana didn’t explain it, her words were all Nathan needed to hear.
Nathan’s eyes grew misty, his voice trembling. “Okay…”
Eliana’s eyes turned red too as she looked at him, her voice soft. “Nathan, you silly man.”
“I’m not silly. Only I truly know how wonderful you are,” Nathan said, pulling her close. “Eliana, I’m so in love with you.”
Never before had Nathan confessed like this, so earnest, so real. Eliana’s eyes grew hot, and she quickly wiped her nose. “I love you, too, Nathan.”
Everyone around them started clapping, unable to hold back their excitement.
Nathan leaned down and kissed Eliana.
After all these years of loving her in silence, she was finally his.
Half a month later, they held the grandest wedding Ockgend had ever seen.
At the wedding, Nathan and Eliana walked in together, hand in hand, catching everyone’s attention.
They were a match made in heaven, and everyone in Ockgend couldn’t help but envy them.
At the wedding, Samuel was their flower child
When Eliana crouched down to talk to him, Samuel’s voice wobbled as he said, “Mom, I know I was wrong. Please don’t stop loving me, okay?
I promise I’ll be good from now on, and I’ll always listen to you. I won’t make you xad anymore. Would you please continue to be my mother?”

Eliana listened to Samuel and said gently. “Sally boy, no matter what, I’ll always be your mom. Even if I’m not living with your dad anymore, I’ll still be your mom. You can come find me anytime, and I’ll always love you.”
As she spoke, her eyes softened with relief and happiness as she looked at Samuel. “Seeing you become so thoughtful makes me really happy.
“You’re great, Samuel, and you’ll only get better and better.
Samuel wiped his tears, looking up at her with a hopeful little voice. “Really? I can come find you anytime I want?”
Eliana nodded seriously, her eyes gentle. “Of course.”
Samuel replied earnestly. “Don’t worry, Mom. I’ll be good and listen to you. I won’t get into trouble anymore.
“Mom, I hope you and Nathan have a happy life.”
Eliana paused for a second, then her eyes lit up with a smile. I will, Samuel. Thank you.”
Samuel grinned and walked off the stage.
Eliana’s gaze followed Samuel, and that was when she saw Logan sitting down in the crowd.
She never thought he’d actually come to her wedding, but in that moment, she finally let go. She flashed him a bright smile, hen linked her arm with Nathan’s and walked ahead together.
Nathan, compared to Eliana, looked way more nervous.
He gripped her hand tightly, his eyes brimming with excitement.
He said, “Eliana, from today on, you’re my wife.”
Yes, Eliana replied, her eyes stinging with emotion as she gazed at him.
She didn’t really know what Nathan had gone through all these years, but seeing the way he kept needing reassurance, her neart twisted with sympathy for him.
She thought, ‘Someone like him is always so confident, and when did he ever become this anxious and uncertain?
Maybe it is me, maybe I am the reason he feels so unsure.
I should be stronger for him from now on.‘
With that thought, Eliana clenched her fists.
As everyone cheered and showered them with blessings, Eliana boldly kissed Nathan first.
Soon, Nathan wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her even deeper.
Right then, fireworks burst into the sky all around them, making the whole moment feel absolutely magical.
Amidst the dazzling fireworks, Irene’s eyes turned red.
She was so moved by the beauty of it all that her nose stung with emotion.
Ethan watched her from the side, and seeing her eyes grow teary, his gaze softened. He couldn’t help but ask quietly. “You really want to get married”

“Yeah… Irene didn’t look at him, but she replied earnestly. “Getting married doesn’t seem so bad after all.
“When you find the right person, happiness just happens naturally, as it did with Eliana
Ethan listened, his gaze growing more intense. So, is that guy you met on that blind date really the right one for you?”
“Which blind date… Irene blurted out before she could stop herself.
But halfway through, she caught herself, quickly turning away and leaving his question unanswered.
Right now, she just couldn’t bring herself to say yes, not even as a lie.
She felt that saying something untrue would only taint the romance and beauty of this moment.
Ethan could already read her like a book. He knew exactly what she was thinking just from her reaction.
As Irene turned away to keep watching the fireworks, Ethan leaned in, whispering. “Marry me?”
Irene froze, her eyes wide with shock, then turned to him in disbelief. “What did you just say?”
Ethan leaned closer, looking her straight in the eyes, his expression deadly serious. “I said, Irene, will you marry me?
I’m not kidding. After everything that’s happened these past few days, I’ve really thought it through. I’ve fallen for you, for cal.
“If I can’t stand seeing you marry someone else, then I’d rather be the one you end up with.
So, Irene, will you marry me?”
Irene looked at him, a little stunned.
Once she was sure he really meant it, she just hugged him tight, tears streaming down her face. “Of course I will.
Ethan, don’t you dare lie to me.”
Silly girl,” Ethan said softly, leaning in to kiss her. “I love you, Irene.”
Irene’s tears wouldn’t stop as she clung to him even tighter.
Wrapped up in each other’s arms, the two held on tight, while just a short distance away, Eliana and Nathan were locked in their own embrace.
With fireworks blooming and spilling light across the dark night sky, the two who loved each other truly finally found their way to one another as soulmates, fated to be together, forever and always.
