Chapter 114
Damien’s pov
“So basically, we go in from the back because there are no guards
there, but if we move in from the front, this gate here,” I said pointing
at the drawing I made in the sand, the whole squad I had gathered
stood in a circle with me and Elara in the middle.
“Coming in through the back is our best chance of catching them by.
surprise. Here and here are two different doors that lead to each
other but one of them has a secret compartment that takes you
directly to the throne room through the walls, and trust me he’s always in his throne room, probably banging someone or drinking an animal,” Elara said giving proper directions, when she mentioned banging, some of my men snickered and I rolled my eyes, they just
had to act like the men they were.
Tonight was the night we planned to invade Kyraxx, the war started today, it was now or never, and we had to get it over and done with.
“We feasted yesterday because we knew not all of us would make it back, this is not our first time going to battle, we always make it back one way or the other, but in case you don’t come back no regrets. We line up here tonight, wait for the moon to come out then we silently go through the back. Elara would be waiting for us behind the wall, I

don’t know how she plans to get there but she would be there, she
would lead us to the doors that interlink and I would go up to the
throne room, eliminate anybody and everybody you come across, no
life should be spared,” I said and there were a few chants of roar, they
hunger for blood just like I did, and it gave me much joy that they
were into the battle as much as I was.
“Do your last necessary rights, we move out in ten minutes” I said and everybody went to do what they felt was needed to do, Elara remained
in her position staring at me.
“Don’t die out there Damien” she said and I chuckled.
“I should be telling you that, just because you’re a witch doesn’t mean you possess the powers that I do, I can take care of myself, and focus on staying alive,” I said plainly and she smiled.
“I know your strength Damien, and I know this is not how or where
you die, The future can be overridden because of mistakes, I am telling you not to mess this up and kill yourself, I can take care of
myself can you?” She asked and I frowned, she was making no sense
to me but I wasn’t ready to argue.
“Whatever, Lady Elara” I shrugged. I couldn’t sometimes sum up what her words mean. I just go with it and pick out the meaningful details.

All she was trying to say was I should be safe.
“It’s time,” I said getting up to my feet, I picked up my sword and kept
it in my belt, I was ready, all my men arranged themselves in the
usual battle line, and the stone was rolled over and out of the way, it
was night but the moon wasn’t out yet, I led my men outside as we
quietly marched down to the kingdom of Kyraxx as quiet as we could
We snuck through the shadows, avoiding the guards who were too
busy laughing and joking to notice us.
Elara led the way, skillfully navigating the castle’s corridors and
secret passages. She had spent years learning the ins and outs of the
castle, and she knew exactly which doors to take and which windows
to climb through.
“I’ll take it from here.” She said. “Meet me at the throne room” She
disappeared into thin air.
My guards disappeared, each to the location as previously planned.
As we moved deeper into the castle, the sounds of laughter and music
grew fainter, replaced by the clanging of our swords and the screams of the dying.
My eyes shone with excitement as I drew my sword, ready to take on
whatever lay ahead. Even the innocent were to suffer for it. That was

the repercussion of crimes leaders made. It wasn’t going to hunt them
when they did it, but years later when everything seemed to have
been forgotten, their past came back, taking with them people that
knew nothing about the history.
After clearing a large number of guards outside the castle. I walked
into the throne room and Elara smiled, a vicious glint in her eye.
We stormed through the castle, and fought our way through the
King’s special guards, taking down anyone who dared to stand in our
way.
The kingdom was caught off guard, and it took them far too long to realize they were under attack. By the time they sounded the alarm,
Elara and I had already made their way deep into the heart of the
castle where the King was.
As predicted by Elara, he was deeply plunged into the legs of his mistress, their moans filling the room, they must have not heard the
noise outside, but the general alarm for safety had startled them,
before they turned back to see us staring.
The King of Kyraxx spent some moment looking at us before finally
recognizing Elara. “It’s you.” He said.
“Surprise, Edwago. Look who came back.” Elara walked towards him

and hit him slap. “Where are my girls?”
“Oh, if they are not all pregnant by now, then maybe in my palace
dungeon” he snickered, grabbing the naked last beside him, who
whimpered in fear. I noticed she and Elara gave a knowing look.
“You’ve been surrounded, Edwargo. You can’t survive this. There’s no
time to joke around, say your last words.” I slid out my sword,
pointing it to his neck.
“And who are you?”
“King Damien of Valthrun and it’s not nice to meet you”
