Every time she posted in the forum to explain some techniques, she was praised. Many replied to discuss with her, and some even sent private messages to recruit her. However, ever since she left the Spencer family, she rarely visited the forum and was focusing on studying. Thus, the replies and messages she received gradually became fewer.
Still, there were occasionally a few messages. She didn’t care much, but just as she was about to close the message, she saw the sender’s ID, which was Archebot.
With such a unique name, she knew it had to be Mike.
He had just sent her a WhatsApp message, and now a forum message too. Thus, it was clear to Jesse that Taylor hadn’t solved the problem as impressively as Mike thought she would.
However, this had nothing to do with her.
Jesse sneered and blocked him without hesitation. She was no longer the girl who would endure everything for them.
The next day, Taylor came to school looking for Jesse.
She didn’t bother going to the classroom. From what her followers found out, Jesse had no class in the first afternoon period. After gaming at an internet café, she went straight to the library.
Jesse’s routine was simple. If she had no class, she would surely be in the library.
Sure enough, after waiting for a while at the entrance, she saw Jesse.
Jesse wore a light blue coat, and her long hair draped over her shoulders. Even without makeup, Jesse looked beautiful, which filled Taylor with jealousy.
Jesse was carrying several textbooks as she walked toward the library. When she saw Taylor ahead, she frowned as she felt that Taylor was going to waste her time again.
In that split second, Jesse turned and left, planning to sit in a pavilion instead.
However, Taylor had already spotted her. She quickly ran up and blocked the latter’s path, calling out sweetly, “Jesse!”
However, Jesse ignored Taylor.
The usually delicate Taylor, who fainted after two steps and needed Jesse to help with morning runs, now sprinted fast to stop her. She was panting hard. Her face was flushed, and her

Looking at her state, Jesse smiled but said nothing.
Catching her breath, Taylor said, “Mike wants you to fix the drones. He is willing to pay you for it.” Her tone was arrogant, as if they were doing a huge favor for Jesse.
Jesse wasn’t interested at all.
Just as she was about to walk away, Taylor quickly added, “30,000 per drone.” She wasn’t willing to pay 100,000 dollars.
At the same time, she regretted not thinking of this earlier. After all, if she had paid Jesse just a little, she wouldn’t have wasted 1.2 million.
Blinking innocently, Taylor added, “What do you think? Mike is generous enough to offer this to you. After all, you didn’t charge him and even paid the fee yourself!”
As she spoke, she raised her chin, looking proud.
Hearing her words, Jesse laughed in anger. Then, she shifted her books to one arm and slapped Taylor hard.
Taylor was stunned. She held her cheek and froze on the spot. Then, tears streamed down her cheeks as she ran away while saying, “How dare you hit me? I’ll tell Mike about this! He won’t let you off the hook!”
Sneering, Jesse replied after her, “Yes, go and tell him I hit you. I’ll also ask him why he is paying me 30 thousand now when last time you paid 1.2 million for me to repair the drones. Don’t you think that gap
is a bit much?”
In that split second, Taylor froze. She slowly turned and stared at Jesse in shock. “Are you the one who tricked us?” she asked, her voice trembling.
Jesse hugged her books tighter and looked at her coldly. “Not exactly. It’s just that the person you found happened to know me.”
Taylor paled even more. She opened her mouth, but no words came out.
Jesse stepped closer and said, “Although I didn’t scam you, that person raised the price on purpose for me. I did nothing and got a 600,000 cut.”
Taylor had never suffered such a loss. At that moment, she lunged toward Jesse and screamed, “Give me back the money!”
Jesse narrowed her eyes, dodged swiftly, and slapped Taylor again. The sharp sound echoed
