Looking at Nathan collapsed on the ground, Isabella’s friends started to panic.
“Isabella, he passed out-what do we do? Are things getting too serious? Should we call an ambulance?”

Isabella’s face was cold. Remembering Nathan’s words, her expression grew even uglier.
What if Nathan really wanted to divorce her when he woke up?
She’d planned to have this baby to secure her future comfort.
She never expected such bad luck-Nathan discovering the baby wasn’t his and wanting a divorce!

A voice altered sound came through the video: “Jade Rivers, Nathan Pierce has been kidnapped. If you want to save him, bring fifty million in ransom. Otherwise, I’ll make him wish he was dead!”
The video ended abruptly. I stared at the screen, feeling absolutely nothing inside.
Nathan really wouldn’t give up on trying to make me see him.

I casually deleted the video and continued reviewing my documents.
Seeing no response from me, they called.

She stared at the motionless man on the ground, her murderous intent growing stronger.

Isabella pulled out a knife. Her masked friends all jumped in shock.
“Isabella, what are you doing? You’ve already kidnapped him-what more do you want?”
Jade won’t believe me. I have to make her believe. So I need to cut something off Nathan to show her.”
She approached Nathan with the knife step by step. The women were horrified.
You’ve lost your mind! Isabella, if you’re doing this, do it yourself-we’re out!”
Yeah, kidnapping was bad enough, but now you want to hurt him? You’re insane-we’re not doing this anymore!”
The women started to leave, but Isabella pulled out her phone and played a video.

Not expecting her to be so ruthless, the women were forced to stop.
