Her Wolf 1

Emily’s Story 1

For three years being the alpha Simon’s mate, Emily’s wolf had been bound 108 times.

Binding and releasing her wolf so many times had severely damaged her brain.

When she woke up again, she found herself in a hospital bed, her mind a blank slate.

More worse, she realize herself was now wolfless.

A middle-aged lycan couple sat beside the bed.

Seeing her eyes open, they frowned.

“How long are you going to continue this nonsense?”

“Simon liked Clara from the beginning,” the feamle lycan said impatiently.”If it weren’t for you and Clara smelling too similar, and him being drunk and mistaking you, he wouldn’t have claimed you as his mate. He doesn’t love you, it’s normal that he doesn’t want to come home.

But you, time and again, you threaten him by binding your wolf. For so many years, how many times have you bound your wolf, and did he even glance at you once?”

“If you weren’t our biological lycan daughter, we wouldn’t bother with you,” the man sighed. “You’re nothing like Clara.”

Emily looked at them blankly.

She had lost all her memories; she didn’t even know who she was.

She could only piece together a miserable life from the rebukes of this lycan couple who claimed to be her parents.

She was the daughter of the Royal Pack’s lycan King. She had been lost and kidnapped when she was thirteen, and when she was finally found

in her eighteen, she discovered that her parents, who had moved to the Hidemoon Pack, had adopted an omega named Clara.

Her parents, who should have cherished her, only had eyes for their adopted omega daughter. The position that should have been hers was completely occupied by someone else.

Later, she fell in love with Simon, an alpha of the Hidemoon Pack, but the man’s heart belonged to Clara.

Until that banquet, Simon, drunk, went to the wrong room and mistook her for someone else.

He claimed her in front of everyone.

After a night of debauchery, he had to make her his mate, but he also gave her all his coldness and aversion.

Her parents didn’t love her, and neither did her mate.

She was heartbroken and powerless to change things, so she could only bind her wolf repeatedly to get attention.

“Alright, we have to go back and cook for Clara,” Mr. and Mrs. Davis got up.”You stay here and think about what you’ve done!”

The moment the ward door closed, a sharp pain pierced Emily’s chest.

Even without memories, the feeling of being abandoned by the whole world was so real.

She didn’t understand how someone could not love their biological daughter but love their adopted daughter instead.

And that man, Simon…

He was the one who went to the wrong room, he was the one who mistook her.

Since he made her his mate, why couldn’t he treat her well and respect her as his Luna? Why did he push her to the brink with his coldness?

She dared not think deeply.

Just listening to these unfamiliar past events, her heart felt like it was being cut by a blunt knife.

What about her former self?

Facing such a situation-unloved by her parents and neglected by her mate-day and night for three years, how desperate must she have been to keep binding her wolf?

Emily slowly sat up, handling her discharge procedures alone.

But standing at the hospital entrance, she didn’t know where to go.

She didn’t remember her parents’ home, nor her mate Simon’s.

Even more tragically, neither home welcomed her.

A commotion suddenly erupted at the hospital entrance.

Emily looked up and saw a tall, strong werewolf carrying a frail omega striding towards her.

The alpha was wearing a sharply tailored black suit, his shoulders straight, handsome and extraordinary. Every step he took exuded the explosive power of his muscles and an undeniable aura.

The omega girl in his arms was carefully protected.

Her pale face was pressed against his chest.

He looked down at her with eyes so tender it was piercing, his arm held her tightly, showing possessiveness.

Even his steps were subconsciously lighter, afraid of jostling her.

“Move!”

His voice was not loud, yet it caused the onlookers to automatically part a path.

“Oh my god, is that alpha Simon?” someone whispered behind her.

“Who else could it be? Who in the Hidemoon Pack has this kind of aura? He’s taking my breath…”

Emily froze in place.

So this is her mate, Simon, and the one he’s holding is probably her adopted omega sister, Clara.

As the tall alpha passed her, his footsteps paused almost imperceptibly.

His eyes, black as ink, swept over her, cold as a blade scraping across skin.

But in an instant, he looked away and quickly walked towards the emergency room with the woman in his arms.

Emily’s thin body trembled slightly.

She didn’t follow, still thinking about what she should do-

The next second, she heard footsteps behind her.

Turning around, she found that Simon had returned.

He grabbed her wrist, his grip so strong it made her wince.”I remember you’re a lycan?”

Without waiting for an answer, he dragged her towards the blood draw room.

*Clara had a car accident and is bleeding heavily. Donate your blood for her. Lycan blood is better for her, it can accelerate the omega’s healing.”

I…

Before Emily could speak, Simon suddenly cupped the back of her head.

He leaned down and kissed her.

The kiss was cold and fleeting, a mere touch before he pulled away.

“Are you happy now? Can I have your blood now?” His voice was low, his eyes devoid of warmth.

Before Emily could react, she was pushed into the blood draw room.

Outside, the nurses’ chatter was clearly audible:

“That’s alpha Simon’s mate, the one who bound her wolf 108 times? I heard she bound her wolf the first time to get alpha Simon to kiss her, the second time to go on a date, the third time to sleep together… She was rejected every time. Shameless for a lycan.”

“Now Simon finally kissed her, but it’s to get her to donate blood to Ms. Davis…”

“She must be happy and heartbroken, right? Happy to finally get her mate’s kiss, sad that it’s for other omega…”

Lying on the blood donation chair, Emily saw Simon through the glass window, standing by Clara’s bed, his long fingers gently wrapped around her pale hand, leaning down to kiss the back of her hand.

Strangely, she felt neither happy nor heartbroken.

The pain of the needle piercing her vein seemed to be separated by a veil, and even the emotions that should have been heart-wrenching were diluted by the amnesia.

She lost her wolf and her memory.

Forgetting everything, it turned out, was a mercy from Heaven.

After donating 800cc of blood, Emily walked out pale and dizzy.

After much deliberation, she decided to approach Simon.”Simon, can you tell me… the address of my house? In exchange, I can give you a gift.”

Simon frowned. “What trick are you playing? Have you bound your wolf so many times that you’ve forgotten where your home is?”

“No, I lost my memory and my wolf…”

The driver is at the door,” Simon interrupted. “He’ll take you home.”

“Thank you, Emily said softly. “I’ll prepare the gift.”

“No need.” Simon said coldly. “I’m not interested in any gifts from you, and don’t try to win me over. Even if you’re my mate, my heart belongs to omega Clara.”

Emily lowered her head, a faint curve at the corner of her lips.

Is that so?

But you will like this gift.

After getting into the car, she found the lawyer’s number in her phone contacts and sent a message:

[Hello, I want to sever the mate bond and disown my family. Please prepare a bonding severance notification and a Declaration of Disownment for me.]
