The staff was very quick, and since the rooms were close, the switch was completed rapidly.
Tracy felt exhausted. After taking a shower, she lay down in bed to sleep. Her body was getting weaker; a mere two–hour flight had nearly left her incapacitated.
After Lincoln and Perry left Tracy, they went into Chandler’s room. They sat unceremoniously on the sofa.
As soon as he sat down, Lincoln couldn’t help but complain about Tracy. “Chandler, what on earth is wrong with Tracy? Is she out of her mind? Why is she being so rude to us now? Look at the way she’s acting! Chandler, you need to rein her in! She actually dared to stare you down. She’s completely out of control.”
The thought of Tracy’s infuriating demeanor made him intensely unhappy. In the past, Tracy had been so submissive, always walking on eggshells around them, terrified of angering them and causing Chandler to ignore her even more.
But now, she was completely different. Tracy had become so aggressive and confrontational, showing no one any respect. Such a huge shift would make anyone uncomfortable, leading them to suspect this was all deliberate.
She must be doing all these transparent things on purpose to try and get our attention.
Having figured this out, Lincoln scoffed contemptuously. A simp can never change her true nature.
Listening to Lincoln, Chandler didn’t look up, continuing to stare at the files on his tablet. Only his tightly pressed lips and grim expression betrayed his foul mood.
Perry leaned back on the sofa and agreed with Lincoln. “I think Lincoln is right. Tracy is getting more and more insolent. She’s offending us while simultaneously trying every trick to get closer to you. Who doesn’t know what she’s up to? She just wants to get close to you but is afraid of making you angry, so she does all this on purpose to get our attention. Chandler, you need to be careful. Tracy going out of her way to stay next door is either because she wants to climb into your bed or because she wants to catch you cheating and threaten you.”
Tracy’s petty thoughts were already obvious. With a ticking time bomb right next door, Chandler was probably in for a sleepless night. At that thought, he felt sorry for Chandler. Having a wife who loved to cause trouble was a miserable fate.
Lincoln heard Perry, and his eyes widened in an exaggerated manner before he adopted an expression of sudden realization. He said indignantly, “So that’s what Tracy’s plan is! Chandler, you’re so pathetic. You can’t even attend an exhibition without your wife monitoring you. Our Chandler is truly pitiful. He can’t even work properly with his wife keeping tabs on him wherever he goes. Chandler, maybe you should hold back tonight and not sleep with Yvonne. It wouldn’t be fun if Tracy caught you.”
If Perry hadn’t brought it up, he wouldn’t have even considered it. Tracy was truly despicable, daring to provoke Chandler so openly. She was shameless!
Just then, Yvonne swiped her card and walked in. Lincoln and Perry exchanged nervous glances. Their hearts leaped into their throats.

They didn’t know if Yvonne had heard them or how much she had heard. They were now fidgeting uncomfortably, feeling an intense anxiety.

Yvonne smiled and greeted them. “You’re here, too? I was wondering where you went. Turns out you came
here!”
She walked straight over to Chandler, sat down next to him, and naturally linked her arm with his. She reached out and took Chandler’s tablet away. Yvonne reminded him, “Chandler, stop looking at files. You’ve been on a plane for over two hours. You should rest a bit before looking at them again.”
Chandler didn’t insist on looking at the files. Instead, he simply lowered his head and smoothed Yvonne’s messy hair.
Seeing Yvonne act so naturally, they secretly breathed a sigh of relief. They were relieved that the room had good soundproofing and Yvonne hadn’t heard anything.
Lincoln and Perry both greeted her as “sister–in–law.” Watching the two of them display their affection, they sensed the couple was about to get intimate.
Understanding the hint, they stood up, told them they had something else to do, and quickly left the
room.
