Little did they know, the “God,” Z, whom they spoke of, was standing right in front of them, completely ignored.
What a bunch of short–sighted fools.
Someone finally noticed Tracy behind Sam. One person pointed to Tracy and asked Sam, “Mr. Zach, and this is…?”
Finally, someone acknowledged Tracy’s presence. Sam raised his chin and introduced her. “This is a new engineer at our company, and she is also one of the core members of our technology department.”
He then introduced her to the surrounding executives. The executives simply gave Tracy polite smiles and moved on. They didn’t know Tracy, nor did they know anything about her accomplishments. They just saw a young girl and wondered how formidable she could possibly be. However, it was surprising that Sam had brought her to such an important event.
They had heard Sam highly valued this new engineer, but they never thought he would give her such an important invitation. Wouldn’t the other people at Vector object to this?
Though they thought this, they weren’t the gossipy type and quickly steered the conversation back to professional topics with Sam. Tracy, meanwhile, occasionally leaned in and whispered a few words to Sam, reminding him of the core points of the discussion.
Chandler and his group arrived just in time to see Tracy whispering something into Sam’s ear. He only glanced at them before quickly looking away, as if he hadn’t seen anything.
Lincoln, however, gaped in shock. He pulled Perry aside and couldn’t help out complain. “Are my eyes deceiving me? Is Tracy openly cheating? She knows Chandler
et she’s showing off her affection with Sam in public! Is this still the Tracy we know?”
He rubbed his eyes. When he opened them again and saw the same scene, he was even more astonished. Tracy actually dared to openly display affection with another man. She was completely trampling Chandler’s dignity!
Perry glanced over, a sarcastic smile on his lips. “She knows her old methods don’t work anymore, so she’s trying a new trick to get Chandler’s attention. But her methods are getting more ridiculous. Chandler probably won’t forgive her this time.”
His thoughts were similar to Lincoln’s. They both believed Tracy was acting so wildly that she had passed the point of no return. You court disaster if you act out, and since Tracy chose this path, she would have to face the consequences.
Yvonne, whose arm was linked with Chandler’s, also saw Tracy and Sam whispering. She

instinctively looked up to gauge Chandler’s reaction. Seeing that he looked completely unbothered, she relaxed. It seemed Tracy was truly no different from a stranger to Chandler now. Yvonne felt very pleased at this thought.
However, if Tracy wants to rely on Sam, she needs to prove she has the ability to keep him..
Jared quickly walked over and greeted Sam and the other executives. “Long time no see!”
Jared greeted everyone surrounding Sam, completely ignoring Tracy. Tracy was long accustomed to this and had stopped caring, but she still felt a sliver of disappointment.
Seeming to notice the disappointment in Tracy’s eyes, when Andy posed a question to him, Sam turned and pointed to Tracy. “Mr. Andy, Tracy is our company’s core engineer. You should talk to her. I believe she will provide you with great insight.”
Everyone turned to look at Tracy, including Jared, but the suspicion in their eyes was so obvious it made Tracy uncomfortable. She knew these people didn’t believe she had
any real ability, and she knew that staging a comeback wouldn’t be easy. However, she had chosen not to reveal her identity, so she wouldn’t be defeated by the current difficulties.
She didn’t want Jared to know her true capabilities so soon, so she whispered a few words into Sam’s ear. Sam nodded in understanding and then systematically answered the question Andy had just asked.
Tracy’s action, in Jared’s eyes, was a blatant provocation. He had just warned her last night not to become Sam’s mistress, and today she was publicly displaying affection with him. He truly worried about things that didn’t concern him. He wouldn’t interfere in Tracy’s affairs ever again.
Yvonne and Chandler walked over, and they heard Sam’s high praise of Tracy. Yvonne frowned slightly in displeasure, but her brow quickly smoothed out, seeing the suspicion in the eyes of the other executives. Tracy was nothing more than a pretty face. With
cal skill, no one would believe Sam, no matter how much he touted her.
Chandler and Yvonne walked over confidently and greeted them all one by one.
