Tracy left the lounge, met Yvonne at the doorway, froze for a second, and quickly left.
Andy also saw Yvonne at the door. He walked over, his eyes filled with adoration for Yvonne. “Ms. Xander, that other Ms. Xander was trying to seduce your boyfriend, but I scolded her thoroughly.”
“Your boyfriend must have been forced. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have run away so fast when she was caught in the act.”
He had seen too many women like Tracy: deeply manipulative. She knew Chandler’s girlfriend was here. yet she intentionally tried to seduce him. If he hadn’t shown up in time, Tracy’s scheme might have succeeded. He was glad he arrived when he did to protect his goddess’s relationship.
Yvonne replied calmly and graciously, “It’s fine. I won’t worry about it.”
How could I not see through Tracy’s little schemes? She was making a full circle and realized Chandler was her best bet, so she was trying to win him back. But Tracy’s plan was bound to fail. Andy looked at Yvonne’s magnanimous demeanor and felt his appreciation for her grow. “Ms. Xander, you are truly generous. That woman provoked you, and yet you aren’t even angry.”
Yvonne merely smiled. “I trust Chandler, He won’t be swayed by another woman’s looks.”
She had fought this rival since childhood. She knew Tracy too well and felt absolutely no sense of threat, Tracy is even dumber than her dead mother. At least Tracy’s mother knew when to give up. After discovering Trevor was cheating, she preferred to leave with nothing. Tracy, however, kept choosing to forgive Chandler even after knowing he was cheating. Mr. Gaunt s probably comforting his girlfriend right now. You wouldn’t believe how awful that woman, Tracy, was. She saw Ms. Xander coming and still tried to throw herself at Mr. Gaunt. His girlfriend was right there, and he was desperate! Fortunately, Mr. Gaunt and Ms. Xander have a strong relationship, or Tracy might have ucceeded.”
He genuinely felt sorry for Yvonne. She was the legitimate girlfriend but had to endure such blatant
