She truly hadn’t expected Tracy to bring this matter up in public. She had just heard from Yvonne that Chandler no longer loved Tracy. Chase walked over to Faye and asked, “I thought you were at the hospital taking care of Yvonne. Why did you suddenly come back?”
Faye explained tearfully, “Yvonne’s fever is gone, and Chandler is watching her. I just wanted to come back and get her a change of clothes. The driver will take me back to the hospital soon.” She hadn’t expected to return and hear Jared scolding Tracy. She decided to use the opportunity to criticize Tracy as well. Should I give you an award for Best Performance? You shamelessly interfered in my mother’s marriage, ruined her life, and now you want to use the same trick to destroy me? You must be dreaming! These fools may not know whether Yvonne is a mistress, but you certainly do! The fault lies with you, yet you come here to blame me. Where is your conscience?”
Tracy paused, then pointed at the Xander family members. “And you! Three grown men, being led around by the nose by this mother and daughter. Do you still think you’re noble? I hit Yvonne two days ago. She only got sick now? Her body’s reaction time is truly long! Use whatever brain cells you have left to think: why would I frame Yvonne as a mistress? What do I gain from it?”
Facing the Xander family’s accusations, her heart was completely calm. Faye and her daughter were so skilled that they had completely misled this entire family. A bunch of blind, foolish idiots.
